Despite the recent storm, the course was in good condition, no winter greens.
An enjoyable day out.

Course in really good condition for the time of year, greens especially!
Club shop has some great stock, friendly staff, bought myself a waterproof top. Nice pint in the club after too.
Greens very poor
Played for the 3rd time at this course and was hugely disappointed compared to previous rounds. The course its self is in good condition, well sign posted and the weather was fantastic, however the greens were covered with sand making putting very difficult, this put a dampener on the day.
The pace of play was horrendous, waiting at every tee for the players in front, all be it not their fault as the pace of play in front of them was so slow,.
Over 4 hours to get around a relatively easy course!
All in all i wouldnt put anybody off playing this course but id hate to think you payed your money to experience the day we had.

Very well kept not too challenging but nice variation of hole.definitely visit again
Great weather,some good golf after a long lay off
Started off great on my own,parred first 2 holes playing on my own,some of the older members were on a comp from early morning yet still held a few up in front of me so i joined 2 single players to keep the play flowing,something that happens alot at Hobson iv been told

The whole course is in pristine condition, the greens are exceptional
Poured with rain
Managed 9 holes before greens were totally un putt able and the course closed. Will be back again soon.
3rd round at Hobson
Great value for money course. Nice par 5 to start, challenging front 9, easier back 9.
Only issue for me was greenkeeping staff still around front 9 holes at 12pm isn’t ideal
Cracking day
Friendly staff and members alike made us feel very welcome. Course in great condition, forgiving rough around the fairways, but thicker and a challenge around the greens. Would highly recommend
