Value for money

Lovely course, like many this spring trying to emerge from a wet winter. Priced fairly, layout really good with some quirky holes.

Breathtaking views of the valley.

Excellent hilly course with plenty of flat areas making the 18 holes enjoyable. The course is in very good condition and the staff are very welcoming.

Course condition

Played on the course on a few occasions without any issues but on this occasion I don’t think the course should of been open after recent bad weather the course was waterlogged, muddy and far too many temporary greens in use that weren’t up to scratch just flags put in the fairway .

Strange course

I played here for the first time and I doubt I will be going again. The course in general was challenging as there are quite alot of steep banks, some par 4 flags you cannot see when teeing off. The green which were in play were in perfect condition. Now for the negatives, dog walkers on the course. I had to wait a couple of time to tee off. But that means there was dog poo on the course. Bunch of kids on the course asking for spare equipment and actually playing one of the holes and riding there bikes to reach there next shot. That’s probably down to the open gates from public paths to reach different parts of the course. So I recommend going during school time. I was rather disappointed

Definitely worth playing

Really nice course, kept in excellent conditions, especially the greens. Could be a little more exciting, but for the price, very nice
