booked a tee for 12.09 didn’t end up finished till 5.30 slowest round i have ever played 2 old guys inform almost killed me with a ball on multiple occasions no shout and spent 10 mins a hole looking for there ball to not let us through all dayb

This is a little gem and in great condition. Well worth a visit course is challenging but accessible.

Clubhouse is great and good value for money.

On the day fairways were good bunkers a lot better than other times I have been. Greens 10/10.Overall the course couldn’t of been much better

Gave this course a great review - which it deserves for many reasons - but wouldn’t play it again or recommend to a friend simply because I found it far too difficult to manage the steep hills on just about every hole. Due to its location - a lot of the flags you were playing blind - even half way up the fairway you still couldn’t see where the green was - which is fine for one or two holes - but this and the overall terrain was just too much for my old bones!

Well maintained course with lovely views (the plus side of the hilly terrain) so well worth a go if you fancy a challenge!

Goood course much tougher than the slope rating suggests.

We all enjoyed playing this course with many interesting holes. I know we played in January so therefore there were three winter greens ( shame) . Hope to go back in the summer when course is fully open.

I noticed all members and golf shop personnel were very friendly and helpful and the sandwich and drink in the clubhouse was very reasonable after playing with the staff being very quick. Looks a nice place for a meal.

Overall a very pleasant day.

We used to play here but left to go to Washington,but can see improvements everywhere

4 winter greens on when we played and those flags were " plonked" on the fairway

Following 2 days of heavy downpours (the course was closed for one of them) Ravensworth was never going to be at its best. The bunkers were unplayable, the greens very soft and spongy, one temp green was in play. The walkway underpass was thick with mud, but I expect many courses in the area had similar issues. Still we enjoyed our game, pace really slowed down for the last 6 holes which was a shame. The clubhouse was absolutely packed, some function on you couldn’t get to the bar so we are at The Angel View … very nice. Having played this course before, I know it can be much better, so have reviewed accordingly. The pro and members we spoke to were all friendly.

A lovely course , good lay out , well presented, well worth the green fee we paid , lovely clubhouse, pleasant staff ,well worth a visit .

Wow what a course, I was optimistic when the bloke in the golf shop said the greens were the best he'd seen in the 37yrs he had been there...but he was more than right the course had the best greens I'd played on ever, and the fairways were in mint condition.....deffo worth a trip here....think I'll be join in january .....
