Course in poor shape,
With all the potential to be a good course the course conditions are very poor Tee areas are missing Grass as are the fairways areas of waterlogged patches in bare soil near dreams makes this a poor golf experience . It is a shame that a course with potential such as this is kept in such poor condition .
Played Often
I play the course regularly and if I don't lose a ball it's a great round. Course in replete with hazards which means target shots. Early morning is very serene with lots of wildlife. Overall a good & fair priced golf experience. Don't expect anything else.../
Nice course with fair price
It was my first time to play, the course fairway condition is normal, play little slow, green condition is good, I will comeback for few holes which made bogey. Overall is nice course with lots trees, trying to avoid landing your ball behind it.
Great course
The course is getting better and better but the staff was really unfriendly at the pro shop today
Fairly flat course but makes good use of the creeks
The course has only a little elevation changes but has a creek that flows along side a lot of the holes especially on the front 9. Creek is on the right side and some of the fairways are narrow so if you slice your ball you may be in the creek and taking a drop. This makes the course challenging and fun to play. Only one road in the area so there is little to no noise except for the ones that nature provides.
Not Holding Up Well
I played here a couple times a month or two ago when it was in much better shape but now the course is very dry and bumpy. The cart paths are super dusty and gets your shoes and bag dirty. The old dude who works in the proshop, Jason, gets offended when you book your round on GolfNow like you're taking business away from the course. He was pretty sulky to me.
Great round
A short course but challenging. The pace of play was great, wildlife all around.
Many of the golfer guests on the course are not dressed properly ; jeans, tank tops, non collared shirts... screaming profanities,
Good condition
The course is in good condition. They have done a lot to keep the fairways nice and the greens rolling true. Way better than years past.
has creek come into play on many holes so you need to be accurate of the tee.
Course generally in good shape. Dry spots that make for a difficult lye.
Beautiful Setting
I have played this course a few times and everyone is super friendly but yesterday we had unusual waiting times and our first tee was delayed by almost 30 minutes.
Love the course though and wish they had opened up the 10th hole to start...
Very good
The course has improved, greens good and fairways good!! I enjoy this course!!
Fun track
Pays to be straight as many fairways are tree lined. A relatively short course at about 5600 yards. Beautiful setting and course in good shape except a few areas where they may have broken water pipes.
Staff friendly and we played in under 4 hrs.
Scenic course!
I've played this course a few times now, always enjoy the layout in the hills!
Just AMAZING!
Just AMAZING! And I usually don’t write comments on my reviews. If that tells something :-)
FINALLY in Good Shape
I've played a few times a year here for the past three years and the course is presently in the best shape I've ever seen it. Greens are finally normal instead of slow and bumpy. Around the greens it's still a little muddy in the rough, though. They've laid down brand new grass in all the fairways so they're no longer rock-hard, though we'll see how they fair in the summer months. Bunkers looked ok (I miraculously never had to play out of one!) but tee boxes are still a little hacked up. I played here Wednesday for $15 and enjoyed it so much, I came back Thursday for $24. It was a shame in the past because I live five minutes away but would always rather play Tri-Valley courses or courses closer to the Bay than Redwood Canyon. There's still some work to be done here, but it's now playable for single-digit handicappers as well as casual weekend players.
