About
The Navy Golf Course Seal Beach is a 27-hole facility that includes the championship Destroyer Course and the nine-hole executive Cruiser Course. The 6,780-yard Destroyer Course presents a challenge even for low handicappers with a slew of hazards coming into play throughout. The small greens have challenging slopes ranging from subtle breaks to dramatic drop-offs. To make them even tougher, you'll find strategically placed bunkers lurking along the edges. The tricky doglegs, which are mostly par 4s, will force you to think carefully about your club selection, and to top it all off, water makes an appearance on almost every hole. It's a long golf course that feels even longer due to the rolling terrain, but it is more forgiving than it seems with long, wide fairways that won't penalize you for being slightly errant.

Navy Country Club
This course is in great shape. They take very good care of it. Layout is challenging. We got done in 3 hours 40 minutes. The group aged of us was about a hole behind maybe more but once they felt us their backs they picked up the pace. Didn’t use any amenities so can’t comment. As long as they keep the 10 minutes between groups and no 5-somes this club should be nice.

Great Course
I finally got a chance to play the Navy Destroyer Course since the Covid shut down, I can’t say anything bad about it except our pace of play, other than that, if you get a chance or you can find a available tee time, please come give it a try, you won’t be disappointed, from the staff, all the way too the greens, it is a gem !! From top to bottom, they are running on all cylinders, from Ashley to the starter, you will be impressed, not to mention the fairways and greens, I hate to say it because I want a quick return round, but I will share, hit and putt them straight and have a great day, thanks Navy Staff

Best course in the OC
I've been playing this course since 2000 and it never disappoints. Greens are always nice and true. Fairways are always full of grass and no dead spots or mud. Very busy, so it is hard to get a early tee time. Best course at this price.

dropped the ball
course was under aerification ,!!! with no warning from GOLFNOW!!! my foursome would have played elsewhere. one of my friends was from out of town . really disappointing!!! if the confirmation would have had the $35 green fee on it.(which it didnt)instead of the normal price of $56 i would have figured something was up with course. but golfnow dropped the ball!!

Good Time
Played here numerous times one of my favorites. My only gripe is that we were not notified that 5-13 had temporary flags off the green due to aeration. We were told about aeration prior to booking & again when we checked in however no mention of the temporary flags. Other than that staff was friendly. We were happy to see the snack shack open past 3pm . More than happy to return & play in the future.

Aerated understatement
11 temporary greens!?!???? No mention of that Marshall got on us unnecessarily. All fairways plugged and plugs still in fairway. Should be closed for maintenance rather than squeezing a few bucks from players when course is virtually unplayable
