Rancho Solano Golf Course

Only got 9-holes in. The heat was approaching 100 deg. My wife was with me. I paid for 18-holes and asked for a voucher. Wouldn’t do it. Got a credit for rider for $19 on a $90 green fee. Oh well.

Rancho Solano is one of my favorite golf courses in the Bay Area. Course is always in great condition and the green are huge but tricky. The fairways are in good shape as well.

Never been here. Great course, good condition , I'll play here again next year on my golf trip.

Nice course which was in very good condition. Well worth the drive.

I am a mid-handicapper. I very much enjoyed playing this course. At 75 years old, the white tees were a bit long for me. Next time I'll move up. Nonetheless, not much to complain about. Loads of trees, bunkers, and some water so pay attention. Long, long greens so bring your good putter. 👍

Fun course. Fairly long for any given set of tees.

Greens and fairways in good condition. Not terribly tight but very hilly. Not only elevation changes but slopes and mounds on fairways mean even hitting fairways won’t guarantee a flat lie.

I’m a 16 handicap, older so 6200 from whites was long on some holes. Still, enjoyed it as very few bare spots in fairways and greens were in good condition and fair (lots of slopes to navigate).

Not that expensive - best public in the immediate area.

The best course conditions we played in the last few months. Great and fun layout. Challenging greens. We came back two days later with a hot deal from golfnow to play again.

I love this course. Thought I’d take my wife out on Saturday at 1:29pm. Played the first four holes in one hour. Perfect. Next two holes… One hour. Next two holes… One hour. Then we left. We were told when we teed off, “We have some ‘Outings’ playing so it may be a little slow. “. I’ve never understood why an outing should take longer to play than a regular match. It’s still a foursome playing the same conditions. No Marshall sighted anywhere on the course. It will be a while till we return. Sadly.

This course is maintained flawlessly. I love the set-up and the large greens. That have a lot of slope. They roll pure and fast. My favorite course by far in the area.

This course has always been in great condition and this particular day was no exception except that it was simply excellent. Smooth, plush fairways & consistent lighting greens. Fairly fluffy (for the most part anyway) bunkers. Rough cut very consistent too. Staff very professional & friendly. Water on course (& cold) including a beverage cart in the late afternoon. I will definitely return.

Rancho Solano is very enjoyable and moderately challenging especially the greens in the back nine.

This course is awesome, love the layout and especially the greens! They are large and in charge. Ball rolls true and is fast so watch for those subtle breaks they will get you.
