Fairways Country Club
About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

Awesome greens
Let’s face it, it’s a $13 18hikes round. Most of FLfairways are my good. But this course has AWESOME greens. Roll really nice and are really well maintained
Bateau
Ci jamais vous voulez voir un bateau sur un terrain de golf ces la place, le skieur a priorité avant que vous ne puissiez frapper votre balle.
Hidden Gem!!!
I booked a tee time based on the very low price. I was pleasantly surprised by the layout and condition of the course. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I canceled my tee times at another course to play again.
Beware of who you book with!
Course is quite short and narrow. Greens were in good condition and average speed. Used rental clubs.
When I called to book tee time, I was told the rental clubs would be available at no charge. However, when we checked in we were charged for them. We were told to stop back after playing and the manager would be able to help resolve the issue. Luckily it was the manager I
booked with and he gave us club rental
refund.
Disappointing.
Although there were a few good holes, (both in shape, layout and distance), overall the course was disappointing. The "Clubhouse" was very small (and a little run down), the golf carts were just in ok shape and the course was a little rough (Even for winter golf). There were spots where you had a hard time to tell where the fairway ended and the rough began. On a positive note, it was perfect for my wife and I as occasional golfers, given that it wasn't busy and was fairly open most of the time. We booked through "Tee-off.com" and only payed 50.00US including a cart. Even at this price, it was disappointing from the get go. The course is only 5000 yards, which is fairly short for a course rating of par 70. Although this was ok for my wife and I, it would be too short for most golfers. It is more of an "executive" course than a regulation course. If someone were to ask if I would recommend this course, the answer would be "probably not". I would follow up with - if you want to just work on parts of your game, not keep score and can get on the couse for 20.00US or less, than go for it. If you want to go out and appreciate the beauty of a golf course, challenge yourself and really feel that you got your monies worth, I would recommend spending the extra money and going elsewhere.
The fairways and greens was in great condition
I really enjoyed playing the course, that greens are fast and hard to control the ball on your approach to the green, good greas in fairways, traps was maintained. Will definitely be back. Staff was nice
Great practice course
I think this is one my favorite courses around not in the sense of condition or off course amenities but because of it’s layout. This is a shorter course there are few holes that you’ll actually want to pull that head cover off your driver. I’m not saying that you can’t but at this course that will tend to leave you with under 100 for your second shots. So I like to play this course to sharpen my long irons off the tee box and give yourself a full swing into the hole. It’s a pretty tight layout for the most part that brings some water into play. The greens are on the smaller size so that helps you sharpen up your short irons. So for the price you can usually pay there any day it’s normally only going to run you 10$ more then a bucket of balls at your local driving range. Now don’t get me wrong the course isn’t always in the best of shape and the pace of play can tend to be on the slow side. There also isn’t a driving range but hey do have a mat and net setup and putting green next to the first hole to get you warm. During the wet months the greens get pretty beat up because this is a golf course community it does get play a lot by the community. So overall this is a great course to get a good practice round but don’t expect the best of the best by any means.
Value for the money
Great value for the cost, play is slow, but sometimes this occurs when there is no marshall to move the play along.
Exceeded expectations
This course is a pleasant place to play, it will test your game.
