About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

Unbelievable
This course is an absolute miss on any reasonable golfers rotation of courses. The old, geriatric, and useless members of society that populate this golf club make it absolutely impossible to not only enjoy but to even finish your full round. These old men expect two and a half hour rounds from any paying golfer in front of them while they simultaneously tee off from the woman’s tees, and all have their own individual golf carts. They can and will call the pro shop on anybody, in front or behind them, they feel like shouldn’t be playing adjacent to them; and the level of pomposity from these old men that live on this absolute dirt track in unbelievable. They will hit into you, never call fore, and then call the pro shop on you. Truly never experienced anything like it. As a course I’ve played over twenty times purely due to the dirt cheap pricing, even the low cost simply isn’t worth the absolute insanity of the average golfer on this course. Any reasonable person should avoid this course like the plague especially the early morning tee times.
Great value for Orlando area
Great value with Deal Time offer. Course was in very good condition for lack of rain in area past few weeks. a couple of tee boxes lacked grass. Fairways and greens were very good condition. Pace of play was 4 hours for 18 on a Thursday afternoon, so not to bad. Definitely will play here again.

Went to play golf and joined a Frat
Have played this course a few times and it was always a relatively low key experience. When did it become college central? Surrounded by drunk frat guys (not judging, they told us) and was really annoying. If that's your thing you'll love it. If not, I guess wait till school gets out to play with the grown ups. On another note, the course conditions were very poor and we were hitting off more dirt than grass.
Great value for the money on a Friday afternoon.
Course was in very good condition. Fairways and greens for the most part were in very good condition. Some tee boxes a little rough. All in all a great place to spend a Friday afternoon in Florida.
