About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

Great time, average value, less than ideal conditions
I don't play a lot of golf in Orlando, but myself and my girlfriend and I decided to check it out. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pace of play was great. The course conditions were not what we are used to this time of year though. The greens were over seeded and required sprinklers to be turned on throughout the round. The fairways were average at best and the tee boxes were sub par. It was roughly 50 each which is average for this time of year but I feel that 30 would have been more fair due to the off season condition. The course was challenging and fun to play I just wish the conditions were better
Unsure about reviews
Hadn’t played this course in years because it was always under kept and soft during rainy season. Read many reviews that it was “doing great” and “greens are great” that I thought I would give it another try. Very disappointed……the greens were so sandy it was like playing on the beach and snowy tee boxes add no solid ground to hit off of. It is a fun little course to play and the pace was fast since there wasn’t too many people on the course. But not worth $52 a person.
Worst course in Florida
Pace of play was horrible. There is no real driving range just a net. They let 6 people play in front of me that were sharing clubs. The neighbors that lived in the neighborhood harassed me saying i know we wish they weren't here... then why live on a golf course. Never returning. For 59 bucks? Never again.
Great Course for the this season
Great course and pace specially for this season. Price was good for the course.
Pace of play was great
This is the first time I have played Fairways and I really enjoyed it. We were able to play at our pace so I was able to play a full 18 holes for the first time. I am not a great golfer so when I have people playing behind me I rush and then it just goes south from there or we are waiting on people.. I think there is a good mix of Par holes. The worst part is getting through the visitors gate. You have to have a code. The screen on the box is so messed up you can’t read it. I recommend calling the pro shop and get the code so when you get to the gate you can just enter the code.

Great inprovements to new cart paths. New tbox on 18th hole. very challenging. Now a fan of hitting over water.

Gated Jewel
I loved this place! Staff was super friendly and layed back. The carts are in great shape. The course itself was one of the better ones I have been on in a while, it even rained mid play and the course dried out nicely. The greens were definitely challenging! Fast and crowned. The course was challenging at times for sure! I had a great experience and will be back soon!!
