Fairways Country Club

Fairways is located in a senior manufactured housing community. It exist for the residents. It has a couple of challenging holes but otherwise not to complex. Course does not drain well and was extremely soft. Overall for $35 it's ok and allows you to use most clubs.

Don’t have high expectations and you won’t be disappointed. I got a great deal but the course was a wet sponge. I play here a few times a month, worth it if you can get a cheap tee time but course has been wet all summer.

Considering how wet it’s been, they’ve been doing a very good job. I will definitely come back.

Don't have high expectations and you won’t be disappointed. Course fairways not in great condition. Very wet due to all the rain lately, was very hard to play. A solid inch or two of water covering most fairways. With that being said, the layout is super fun and I got the tee time for dirt cheap so even with the bad conditions I would have spend $20 at the range in a hour. The pro shop employee super friendly and great laidback vibe overall. Good place to practice. I will be back when it dries out a bit.

I don’t know what got ahold one me on this day but I easily played the best round of my life. Maybe it’s because the course is a par 70? Only the ranger that watched during the thunderstorm and rain believes my final scorecard!

I played this course yesterday, i must say the greens were rolling true and they were in good condition. But the fairways and tee boxes need work. This course really tests your accuracy off the tee box, tight fairways and alot of mobile homes around, as well as alot of water and out of bounds areas.

I was very disappointed with the maintenance of this course. We've gone several times but this was by far the worst it's been. Fairways were in terrible condition and greens were okay. Definitely not worth the $55+. I will wait until they actually invest a little $ in maintenance.

The course was in dreadful shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in rough shape. Lift and place everywhere.

So let’s start with Good, I felt the greens on each hole were fair and the speed was reasonable. While I say that there were many greens that had fungus in areas where the pin was not placed obviously the greenskeeper is trying to keep people away from those specific areas.

Although we have not had a lot of rain, the course has been watered, but the fairways lack ample grass on many of the holes. There’s a lot of burned out areas and you really need to move the ball around in order to have a favorable lie.

The biggest negative to me was the fact that this is in a retirement community that is gated. There’s no mention of this in any of the information through GolfNow or through any information from the clubhouse. So getting into the facility is a little bit difficult unless you understand that you have to be called in by the clubhouse. This was a negative and should’ve been noted when booking your teatime.

The staff is super friendly willing to give you as much information as you need specifically in directing you to the first and 10th hole, which can be a bit confusing. The biggest confusing part for me was understanding where the clubhouse was, which is connected to a pool that the residence use and it’s unclear based on where you park if that is the actual clubhouse.

Overall, it was a good round of golf pace of play was decent. There is no starter nor is there any Rangers roaming around checking on piece of play. I found that there was no water on the course so you must fuel up before leaving the clubhouse or bring your own water until you reach the clubhouse between the ninth and 10th hole.
