About
Cobblestone Park Golf Club has 27 championship holes that stretch across more than 240 acres of rolling hills. The course has some of the highest points in Richland County, providing panoramic views on nearly every hole. Formerly known as the University Club, Cobblestone Park is home to the University of South Carolina's golf teams. The holes are divided into three nines, each with a unique character, though they are all defined by the rolling hills. The Gold nine is the shortest of the three but thanks to the elevation changes, you don't miss the length. There are strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens and tall oaks and pines line the fairways. In addition to the 27-hole course, Cobblestone Park G.C. also boasts one of the largest private practice facilities in the South, which includes a large driving range, pitching and putting greens, and a practice bunker.

Golf Heaven
Course was in great shape! Only played there twice, but they have 27 holes (only 27 hole course in Columbia that I know of). I played 9 on garnet and went back the next day and played 18 on garnet and black, and I’ll definitely be going back soon. They also have a pretty nice practice green and driving range so I could easily see myself or anyone who loves the game spending a whole day out there!
Outstanding as Always
Always a great time when I play here. Even with the greens having sand placed on them this morning, they rolled very well. The course is green, the pace of play was acceptable, and the starter John was very accommodating! Love this track and just wish I lived closer.

Great times at Cobblestone
This is a beautiful 27 hole course. We played the Garnet and Gold nines. The greens had been punched a few weeks ago but we’re coming back in nicely and we’re rolling true.
I wish the Pro Shop had offered a yardage book as the carts do not have GPS. Local knowledge would be very helpful.
Overall, an absolute wonderful experience.

Nice, large course with a great staff and great extra amenities. I would definitely recommend you play this course a few times as the different layouts and course routes will give a great variety to your game.

Good course!
First time playing this course. Was expensive, but got it on a hot deal. Great layout and good conditions. Greens were not perfect and had been aerated a while back, but still were bumpy affecting putts at times. Overall a great course and plan to return.

Fun and challenging
I finally got to play this course on weekday because it’s kinda pricy on weekends, however the price during the week is worth it if you can swing it. We played 2 of the 3 nines available (Gold and Garnet), the topography changes are pretty drastic and can be difficult if you have never played a hilly course before. We got put in a group of 4 (which I don’t really like golfing with strangers, but whatever) and that was a little unexpected. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go back.

Awesome layout
First time playing. Loved the layout. Greens were recently aerated so ran slow but still had a great time and looking forward to playing again when the greens are a smoother.

Very Nice Course
The golf course was in excellent condition. Club house staff was not overly friendly, but the cart staff and starter were extremely helpful. Will definitely play there again.

Nicest course in Cola
Best course in Columbia by far even with freshly punched greens. Only bone to pick is why hole #1 on Black had only 1 rake for the 5 bunkers and #3 on Garnet had 3 rakes alone in the fairway bunker. All in all take the time to check it out.

Love the course.
The greens had been aerated so they were rather bumpy. Other than that the course was in excellent shape.
The pace of play was very slow as we were a twosome and caught up with a foursome that never let us play through.
I really enjoy the course and play it whenever I can get a good deal on GolfNow. The daily rates are usually very expensive.

Black-Gold
Well maintained course. Very interesting holes. Black and Gold are very different. Staff friendly makes feel like they are glad we visited.
The only problem was the course was not air conditioned, it was 101 with heat index 109.

Cobblestone is worth your time
So let’s get the only bad portion of our trip and round at Cobblestone. There are not a lot of signs for direction and the staff do a really poor job of directing and giving instructions. The gentlemen at the Golf Shop is absolutely useless and slow.
But once you are past this, you begin your journey into a round of golf that’s entirely worth your time. The layout is inviting and demands that you know your yardages. I can’t say enough about the course maintenance and upkeep for the amount of traffic it gets. We drove 1hr and 47 minutes and we’re not dissatisfied at all with this course.
