This course consistently provides you with great conditioning, an interesting playable at all levels layout and is very pleasing on the eye. Staff always seem to know what they are doing and help to make this a great value place to play.

Beautiful course with lots of different looks. Greens were rolling true.

The grounds, tee boxes and greens are in excellent shape. Playing in the afternoon and pace of play was great, no waiting. excellent value for the money. A must to plat when hoing to Holton Head, just remember it is in Bluffton.

We come for golf every year and Hilton Head National is always on our play list. Always in great condition and the staff is nice. We recommend this course highly. Everything about it is enjoyable.

Played mid morning and got very hot. Staff at arrival very friendly and courteous. Playing as a two ball pace of play was good and we were round in 3 1/2 hours. Plenty water stations at tees. Course in very good condition and greens were in very good condition with lots of subtle breaks. Overall a really good day and most enjoyable and I would recommend to friends.

I have played here several times over the past 10 years and am always impressed. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition this morning. Love the layout and beautiful landscapes. My favorite course on the Island.

We showed up to check in for our hot deal special and only one person was working the counter. The guy behind the counter was taking a reservation on the phone while 3 or 4 golfers were waiting at the counter until another staff member showed up to help us. My wife I and were paired up with a couple of young guys to make a foursome. Before we even got to the green on hole number one a twosome came charging up the fairway. I had two pars and a birdie on the first six holes when the ranger came to us and said that their was a large gap between us and the group in front of us so he split us up to make two twosomes. My wife and I caught up to the twosome in front of us by the 12th hole and from the 12th hole to the 18th hole we waited at every tee box. At one time I counted five twosomes in a row including my wife and I. I have no ideal why a foursome was sent out in a middle of twosomes. I have read past reviews where some claimed that they were rushed and I can see where that may occur. The ranger wasn't rude and we did finish in four hours and ten minutes so in the long run it wasn't all that bad. Logan at the bag drop said it was a rough day when we played but we did enjoy the course and it is well maintained.

Pros: Excellent condition. Fun layout with tees for every handicap. Nice putting greens and driving range. Nice starter.

This was my first time at this course. The greens are large. They roll fast and true. Fairways are pretty open compared to most courses in the area. This course is in great shape. Can"t wait for my next trip to the area and play again.

This course if one of the best around HHI, especially considering it is under $100 to play! There are a number of picturesque holes and the course makes great use of the surrounding terrain. There are holes with trees strategically placed forcing the player to hit tactical shots. The entire course was in great shape, the greens rolled consistently and at an okay speed, I would have liked them to be a bit quicker. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If you are coming to Hilton Head this course, without question, should be near the top of your list of course to play!

Really enjoyed ourselves. Threat of rain probably kept people away but it only drizzled one hole. Had course to ourselves. What a treat! Conditions were super. Our favorite course of the week We played 6 different courses.

It wasn’t a difficult course, was well manicured. Staff was courteous, course was open, hurricane coming in and a few lighting delays but managed to get in all 18. My wife rode, great afternoon, good day on vacation!

The course is challenging, great condition, & overall fun to play.

Our one pet peeve, no personal coolers allowed, yet no coolers provided on carts. This is crazy. In my experience all high quality courses like Hilton Head National provide coolers with ice. 85+ temp. with very high humidity you have to wait 3 plus holes for cold water holes doesn't make sense.

staff was good, easy access, have to drive off the Island of Hilton Head but no big deal. Course was empty when I went and the starter let me go as soon as I was warmed up. Range was top notch. Condition of the course was very good. Greens were straight and easy. Short course off the whites. Played blues and whites. Great deal.

If you get a chance, check out Hilton Head National. Not one of the resort courses however a great public facity worth consideration. Well maintained with a nice layout. It’s a fun and fair track. You won’t be disappointed.
