Excellent practise facility. Played the course in 3.5 hours. The greens were excellent. I look forward to playing the course again.

Wonderful course with the best greens we have found in the area. The course layout is less challenging than we prefer but offers a good value and an enjoyable day of golf.

MY husband and I played here for the first time. Excellent, beautiful course. Player-friendly.

Best conditioned course I played in HH during a 5 week stay. Played solo in @3 hours as many had cancelled due to possible rain. There were a few drops on one hole, but sunny and 70s for the most of the round. Definitely worth a visit.

Best greens so far, played a dozen rounds throughout Hilton Head Island and off the Island, and I do say these were the best, fast and rolling thru, a lot of undulations on all greens, very nice layout, pace of play was just over 4 hours and it was very busy, my only very small complaint was the GPS on my cart was slightly off on most holes, had to use my Garmin, same with the twosome's cart I was paired with, overall a great day

Another great day at Hilton Head National. The weather was fabulous, our playing partners were excellent company and the course was in very good shape for this time of year. This is one of our favourite places to play while in Hilton Head and the course lived up to expectations. It can be very challenging but rewards you for good shots. We'll be back again!

This was my first visit to Hilton Head and this was my second time playing this course in a week. It was comparable to others in the area for the money. I was surprised that none of the courses in the area looked after the fairways. No winter grass. All courses were dried out and brown like a burnt out course in the middle of summer. As far as HHN I liked the layout and greens were in good shape. I hope I can play this when everything is nice and green

First time playing course and was very pleased with course layout & conditions. Greens rolled true, fairways & tee boxes in good condition. We were a two-some and had single join us playing from behind. Turns out he, Gary, was retired marshall from course. Gave us great tips on where to place ball to have shot at greens. Left bluetooth speaker in cart & staff was able to retrieve for us the next day. Nice restaurant & bar. Staff was friendly from bag drop, to starter to Marshall. One annoying thing was that carts would shut off or slow down if you got close to woods and had holes 6-10 as cart path only. I guess it's a small price to pay in order to keep course & carts in good condition. Hole #6 will make your heart race! Overall, nice experience and will play again!

Despite the information on Golf Now to the contrary, walking is not allowed. HHN is a better than typical public course for this area but to not allow walking late in the afternoon off season is silly. Plenty of others do so I will go elsewhere.

Although six holes were cart path only, our threesome still managed to complete our round within 3 minutes of the gps suggested time. This is a great course with generous landing areas on most holes and trouble evident from the tee box. I look forward to returning.

My buddy and I headed out for a mid week round at HH National. It was warm for late January and the greens were rolling well. We were on our 5th hole playing fairly well and then it hit. I was looking at an 8ft birdie putt and was literally having a heart attack. My playing partner rushed me back to the clubhouse where one of the guys, Kyle, happened to be a well respected EMT. They looked me over and immediately called for an ambulance which took me to the hospital for 4 days. Now, I am back home. Without Kyle and the round of golf with my buddy, I would have been in my home office alone and likely would have laid down on the couch having hit my last ball. I look forward to returning to HH National, finishing my round, and thanking Kyle for being a big part of saving my life. The ultimate in customer service.

As always the course was in tip-top shape. Cart restrictions were on six holes however given the amount of rain recently was surprised it was only six. Course length and design is enjoyable for all based on tee box selection. Would say with exception to the exclusive private clubs off the island this would rank at the top for play conditions.

I love this course. The course has a great layout and is always in excellent condition. The staff in the pro shop and at the bag stand were very friendly and organized. I did not use the resturant.

Must play while at staying in Hilton Head!

I would strongly recommend you try out this course. It has a lot of heritage and the service in the club house was excellent.

The course itself is tree lined with some interesting holes that challenge any Golfer.

The fairways are lush and green and very forgiving

Course condition was decent for winter play in Hilton Head. Their tee boxes were slightly shaggy. Green rolled slow, possibly due to recent rain. Pace of play was 20 minutes behind schedule, but we started play in the afternoon. This can be expected for a busy course.

Exceptional course. I say that after having to play it cart path only. The course was so wonderful you enjoyed the extra walking/exercise. What an enjoyable facility. All the words associated with excellence at every phrase here. I'll be back.

Golf course was very playable, even though it was wet. Would play again for the price we got.

COURSE WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITON AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. WOULD PLAY A SCEOND ROUND HAD TIME PERMIT. PLAYED THE WHITE TEE AND OTHER LONGER TEES WERE AVAILABLE. DIFFICULTY WAS MODERATE. STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. WOULD LOVE TO PLAY IT AGAIN.

This course is a great value for the money. Just off Hilton head Island and well worth the trip.
