Grand Canyon University Golf Course

Casual standing water in almost every fairway. Standing water in majority of bunkers. Even saw a grounds crew member watering a muddy puddle.

So much unnecessary overuse of water you would think we are no longer in a drought.

This is an outstanding course. I've been playing this track for over 40 years when it was originally Maryvale. What they've done to this place is nothing less then incredible. It's absolutely pristine, beyond well kept end to end including the bunkers and roughs. The clubhouse has been completely transformed along with the restaurant. Crazy good! The pace of play was fast and the sales associates and staff were friendly and accommodating. This course blew me away with how perfect the fairways were along with the greens. Without sounding too much like a fanboy, I almost felt like they were preparing for a PGA event, that's how well maintained this course is. The roughs were also actually real rough versus whatever most courses call a rough. Greens were overall consistent in speed which was moderately fast to fast, but very true. I cannot possibly recommend this course more then what I am doing right now. I will continually play this course even though the distance from my home is about 45 minutes....that's how much I like this place. Do yourself a favor and just play it. You will be amazed if you haven't played this track before or since it became the GCU home course. WOW!!

Course and greens are getting better before winter thanks to rains nice place to play

Greens are getting good. Don't hit into the rough! Staff in the Bar and the Cart Girl super friendly as well the rest of the staff.

weirdly on the front nine we ran into course crew mowing. we didn't know what to do as it was around 1 pm . they would make gestures but not in a way you could tell what they wanted to you do . so we ended up picking up and skipping the hole. other than that great experience.

I really like CGU Golf Course. Everything is topnotch and the staff makes it an enjoyable day.

One thing, and it's a pet peeve, please till the Bunker sand. Some are unplayable. I know this is,a huge problem that takes lots of time. It's just not enjoyable to play out of hard bunkers!

5some in front of my group... Greens not like they could be. You or your cart will be watered from the sprinkler system. Twice I parked the cart to walk to the green and putt and the sprinkler system sprayed into my cart and bag. Course has a lot of potential thought.

If you don’t find the fairway, good luck finding your ball. The rough is deep. Otherwise the course is great!!
