Man O' War Golf Course

Very nice course. Lots of water and somewhat challenging. Overall a 4.2

First time playing this course. Course was in great condition. Lush green everywhere. Large greens were quick and true. Water present everywhere. Nice playing a course this lush this time of year.

Course was in good shape but tough to play in strong winds.

Played on 3/19/22. Starter paired us with a single and stated that we would be behind a 5-some. I quickly gave him the stink eye as I was shocked that any nice course would send out a 5-some on a Saturday. He assured me that they were good golfers and would keep up. They were not, and did not. They finally let us go by at the turn and we quickly made up the 2 holes that they were behind. The course was in beautiful condition with nice over-seeded fairways and nearly perfect bent grass greens. The staff were friendly and prices in the golf shop were quite fair. I would recommend this course and will play again in the future. Only disappointment was being behind a 5-some of buddies hacking it around.

Nice experience. Only negative is the difficulty in knowing yardage to water edge. Lots of water. Difficult even with rangefinders. Pleasant coastal breezes.

Course is nice. Island green is a must see! although a bit expensive course. A lot of water.

This was one of my favorite golf courses I've ever played on in 30+ years of golfing. The layout was challenging and the course was beautiful. I will be back.

Lots of water on this course. Bathrooms on course were numerous and clean.

Not accommodating at all. Facilities were dirty, staff very unfriendly. For over $100, we would have much rather played Barrfoot, or any other course for that matter. Will not be back, go explore other courses

Airated the greens recently, starting to grow in, but still affected the ball on the down hill sidehill breaking putts that need to run out. The fairways and rough conditions are wonderful. Well overseeded and in great shape! New sand in the traps is a bit fluffy now, but will be consistent before long. Every hole has its own personality and, with ever present water hazards, this is really a fun course to play.

Unfortunately, bad timing on our part. The greens had just been sanded. Had it not been for this, my rating would have been higher, however due to the heavy sanding, I was not able to determine the condition of the greens.

Love this course except when the greens have been newly aerated. Just wish I knew this when I booked this tee time. Otherwise it’s fun and challenging course with plenty of water in play.

Except we played after the annual aeration so the green is a bit hard to putt. Layout and fairway condition were nicely maintained. Tee boxes were a bit confusing, often having past them.
