Man O' War Golf Course

The entire course was overseeded and is a lovely green. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Fairways were al little soft..

The greens rolled true and were somewhat firm for winter. I played as a single. Started on the back with a threesome making the turn, then I had the entire front 9 to myself. Really pleasantly surprised by the good conditions for winter and a recent rain.

Good course. Greens could be better but I have played worse. Staff was not friendly. Pro shop guy was mad that he didn’t see the revision to my tee time so I gladly showed him the email. Cart worker told us it would be $12 to get an extra cart for riders. He charged us $28. Disappointing treatment at a course that often had plenty of tee times open. Fun course to play but greens were inconsistent and grass tee boxes was too high.

Wonderful experience all the water can be intimidating but easily playable with a little thought. I greatly enjoyed the course.

Nice layout, pace of play was good and really enjoyed the course. Will definitely play again!

Great course and wonderful staff but VERY SLOW! A threesome held our two foursomes up every hole. Before we teed off we noticed a group of five and a group of six on two different holes! That’s unacceptable! If you’re to allow groups of five or more the ranger or someone needs to make sure their pace of play isn’t holding up the whole course. The threesome should have been sped up or kicked off of the course.

Great course that was in awesome shape. A lot of water, but don’t let that scare you away. Majority of it is not in play, unless you have a bad hook.

The par 4s played fairly long which was a good challenge with the long irons.

DON’T eat the hotdogs on the turn. Not sure what kind of dogs they are, but they were the worst hotdogs I’ve ever had!
