Man O' War Golf Course

Excellent course for beginners or advanced. Course was very wet from overnight & early morning rain, nothing Man-O-War could do about that, but played pretty long with no roll in fairways. Very fair course if you are in position off the tee, a lot of water on the course but not always in play unless you are Long & Wrong off the tee. Beautiful course, definitely a must play if in the area.

Best greens we played all vacation. Really great layout. Get a yardage book if you haven't played here before. Staff is very friendly.. Good value for your money. You won't be disappointed.

Course is also great for those who play from forward tees - so not be intimidated by all the water. Beautiful course - if you don’t need the great clubhouse look but want a challenging and well layer out course this is for you!

Good course with many challenges. Driving range was closed so couldn’t warm up..

Man O War was in excellent shape! Beautiful layout with challenging decision making due to all the water. Wonderful staff and a very enjoyable time. Definitely bring a range finder because there is no GPS or even yardage on top of sprinkler caps (that I recall). There were a number of holes where water was a factor from the tee box and there was no indication to the yardage to the water....causing me to lay up when I didn’t really have to. We just didn’t know because you couldn’t see. But those are small easy fixes by the course staff. It by no means took away from our wonderful experience. Thanks again MOW!

The pace of play was over five hours as groups were sent off the front and back.

The course and staff were great and their service is appreciated.

If the old saying "A customer will never forget how you made them feel" is true, then the desk staff/pro at this facility need to be fired immediately! I am not usually this blunt but they deserve it. As I checked in early for my tee time I asked the female at the desk if I could be paired with a 3-some since I was a single, she said in a few words, NO. I drove 4 hours to play this friend- recommended course and didn't want to play by myself. She then was not able properly transcribe my simple 6- digit last name on to the starter ticket. Then, when pointed out the misspelling, she would not change it. She gave me some BS about how it was misspelled on the Golf Now transcript. Yeah right! Then after giving my misspelled-name starter ticket to the starter, and wanting to putt, he indicated I could not take my cart by the putting green/range. He was cool but said that direction was because the head pro set that policy. Unbelievable. Although the course was in good shape and the pace of play was good I would only recommend playing but do NOT spend one cent in the pro shop or on food and beverage. It will be the only way the impact of horrible customer service by the front-desk staff will be felt financially.

Course was cart path only, but we were not told until starter informed us. Greens had been spiked and some were bad.
