On your next Las Vegas golf trip, make sure to put Chimera Golf Club at the top of the list of "must plays." Opened in July 2003, Chimera Golf Club (previously known as Tuscany Golf Club) is one of the newer golf courses in Las Vegas.
This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.
Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.
Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. Great course and friendly staff
Check in experience was great. Doug was very friendly and he was very flexible on when I could tee off. Course layout is challenging. Some greens are still in process of being repaired and all the greens were putting slow..But all in it was a great day out. Course was not crowded. Pace was excellent. Friendly staff. Great course

Almost too hot!!
Temps weren't bad and the humidity was way up (30%) for here.
Corse has some issues in the fairway and some greens.

Weekend Golfer
The course was in very good condition, there were a few brown spots but that is expected due to the extreme heat of Vegas. The greens were a little firm but played very well. I had not played here for quite some time and we enjoyed our round of golf will be back to play it again. I do recommend the course and they do provide free range balls so a plus and the club house did have a nice selection of items.

TELEPHONE LEFT IN CLUBHOUSE
LEFT MY TELEPHONE IN THE CLUBHOUSE WHEN PAYING FOR ROUND. FINISHED ROUND AND NOTICED CELL WAS NOT IN BAG OR CART. WENT TO CLUBHOUSE AND ORDERED FOOD AND DRINK AND WENT OVER TO CLUBHOUSE CASHIER TO ASK IF I HAD LEFT MY PHONE IN THE OFFICE. DIFFERENT STAFF MEMBER STATED NO AND RETURNED TO AFTER ROUND MEAL. NEXT DAY CALLED THE CLUBHOUSE AND ORIGINAL ASSOCIATED STATED MY PHONE WAS IN THE OFFICE. MADE THE 40 MINUTE ROUND TRIP TO RETRIEVE MY PHONE BUT ALL THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF ASSOCIATE HAD COMMUNICATED TO AFTERNOON HELP THAT A CELL PHONE HAD BEEN LEFT AT THE COUNTER. HAPPY THE PHONE WAS THERE, BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO AVOID THE LONG DRIVE IF COMMUNICATION AT CASHIER HAD TAKEN PLACE AT CHANGING OF THE GUARD.

Don’t waste your time
This course is in very rough shape. The greens should be considered unplayable and completely redone. The fairways and tee boxes would be considered average even for a municipal course. Pray you don’t end up in a bunker here. I didn’t even want to take a chance destroying my wedges on the parking lot gravel they filled the bunkers with. On a positive note the staff was very friendly and they include a very small bucket of range balls.
Overall I got the impression this will be closed and turned into homes soon.

Greens are almost unplayable
Greens are really bad on the front side. The bunkers are hard as concrete. They need sand. Very disappointed in this course.

Very nice course
The course is great for people starting out. The tee box and fairways are forgiving and allow you to keep your ball in play and keeps you away from looking for balls in bushes.
The greens were a little rough but the staff explains this was a service time of the year.
Careful on the 7th hole if you hit white balls. The right side of the hole blends into the driving range and you’ll have a hard time finding your ball in that area.
I will definitely be back to play here again soon.

Very Confused
We had to wait for our golf cart we were told they were just busy. Was given a cart minutes before teeing off. The practice range is in poor shape we hit of DIRT which was OK cause the balls were in really bad shape. They looked like 10 year old range balls. We notified the Pro Shop via GPS message screen our battery was dead on the 15 hole only for the cart to die in fairway on 18. Had to call pro shop and it sounded like I was bothering them. The greens had some grass but a lot of dirt patches. Some of the holes were right in the middle of a dirt patch. Not sure why they didn't place them elsewhere. It's sad but will never go back and that use to be a great course to play.

A lot of disparity on the greens. Diseased and hard to putt through. As the course heals, go with the expectation of having a good time with company.
