On your next Las Vegas golf trip, make sure to put Chimera Golf Club at the top of the list of "must plays." Opened in July 2003, Chimera Golf Club (previously known as Tuscany Golf Club) is one of the newer golf courses in Las Vegas.
This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.
Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.
Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. Great Course. Terrible experience.
I play Chimera pretty regularly. I love this course and it’s conditions, but this was the worst experience I’ve had by far.
They closed the range 5 mins after I get there for some reason, and then we didn’t tee off until nearly 45 mins after my tee time. Played a 5 hour round of golf.
Just don’t overbook. Simple as that guys.

Super slow pace
Decent price but slow pace backed up 2 groups per hole had 12:37 tee time and got dark and couldn’t finish the last 2 holes course shape was ok for winter greens were furry and punched

Home course living in Tuscany
Always a great experience, pace of play slowed down tremendously towards the end of the day, would have like to see the marshal be a bit more proactive with slow groups.

slow play but very nice layout
The course was very nice and very enjoyable. That being said it took over 5 hours to complete 18. That is totally unacceptable. We played with two locals who were shocked at the slow pace. One of them quit at the turn and since there were 2-3 groups waiting on alot of the holes most of players were very nice but they also said play can be very slow but this was the worst they had seen. We could see a group ahead that would wait until the group ahead of them was off the green before they hit their tee shots and then they would hit multiple tee shots each. I would love to play again but I will definitely watch the reviews before. They obviuosly need someone on the course pushing golfers and trying to have some control of players who have no consideration for anyone else

Cold and Windy
You could tell the course would be nicer in spring or fall under better weather conditions, but the fairways and greens were not in great shape. Almost never had a good lie in the fairways. There was bird feces all over the greens and around the greens and in the fairways. Making it nearly impossible at times to avoid it. Finally, the pace of play was abominably slow. No reason for a round of golf to take over 5 hours, but then they let a 5-some out a couple groups in front of us. It was too cold and windy to be standing around on every tee..

Ok so I just finished a round at Chimera golf club….rained, above and beyond wind conditions(30+) and a little hail and STILL HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF PLAYING A DREAM COURSE….I have played all over the country and even internationally. This place is special. I’ve never had a course say welcome home to me while engaged with it…this place allows a bad golfer to think they can play and a good golfer to play a dream round…..any person that walks in to the pro shop and has a thing negative to say should be tied up and placed on the driving range….FOR ALL TO HIT AT! I’m just saying once again this place is special!!!!
