Wolf at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

The greens are fantastic. Fast but they hold approaches well.

The Wolf at Paiute is one of the toughest courses I have played. I didn't feel there was a single hole you could let up on without fear of making double or worse. The course was already made difficult by Pete Dye and then the desert wind turns into a nightmare in some cases. While I keep talking about how difficult it is, I really enjoyed my round. The course makes you feel like you have chances and then you realize how bad mishits are treated. The island green is the obvious signature hole, but the other holes offer plenty to look at as well. While the routing blends together a little at times, the course earns the recognition it gets.

Oversubscribed 4:35 a round. Course Marshall monitoring wolf course at around 1345, a disgrace. Didn’t want to listen to my constructive feedback. Told me the weekend Is about Paiute making money and anything over 4hrs is due to an inadequacy on my part. Without context that last comment was quite funny but if I wanted a comedian I’d go to Benny Gs. Play here twice a week, will give it a miss for a while due to marshaller. Cutting grass with legion of course maintenance workers throughout the front 9. Shocking experience

When I find a decent deal, I like to come play here especially when temperature is hot. Due to higher elevation, the courses here are always 10 to 15 degree cooler than the courses near the strip. Checking in was an issue. I had the tee time booked prepay via golfnow but they didn't have my booking on their tee sheet. Luckily, there was opening otherwise, they said we would not have been able to go off until opening was found. Now to actual golf. Starter was great and pace of play was brisk 3.5 hrs for our 3 some and that's with us waiting on about 5 holes due to 3 some ahead of us were busy drinking. Layout isn't too difficult and conditions here are always top notch. Not sure how they can keep the grass here so lush and greens rolling fast. It does get windy and price can be high but course is definitely worth the 35 min drive from the strip.

What a great course. Fairways and greens are in great shape. The only bummer is the resident rate is 62.00 and the out of town rate is 129.00. That’s not so great in my world. Definitely worth playing this course once unless you live in Nevada then play it each week.

Played this course for the first time. Everyone was great and the course was in immaculate condition. Layout was challenging but fair. Accuracy is important as the rough was maintained well and was a challenge to play from. Played it in the afternoon so was breezy, morning round would be calmer. Greens rolled true although not as fast as I expected. Look forward to playing here again.

Best course I’ve ever played Wish I lived closer I would be there twice a week

I must say it has to be one of the best courses I have played..... played the Wolf course and from the beginning it was just a great view and tough.... played the back tees 7000 yds and i must say it was a bear....... loved the staff very friendly and the course was in mint shape..... only setback and its very understandable was that the greens had some sand but still was rolling well and true...... look forward to playing this course next time im in Las Vegas

This is a don’t miss playing if in vegas We live here and decided to go up there as great price and great weather today

Play the Wolf Course It’s gorgeous

First weekend open after COVID!!!! Staff all wore masks and made sure customers kept social distance. Course was in immaculate shape as one would expect after being closed for 4-6 weeks.

This WHOLE facility is the best in LV!!!! Always great shape, but you gotta learn to play in the wind out here. All 3 courses are fantastic as I play here regularly. DO NOT pass on playing here!!!!!

Excellent course. Tough layout but fun. Really enjoyed the #15 par 3 with an island green.
