Wolf at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

I'm a Senior Citizen and have played numerous courses. This is the BEST EVER course I've played. Gorgeous, well kept, friendly visitors and STAFF. Views are beyond real. This is an experience well worth your bucket list. If you don't play here you will regret it. Go........... Play the Wolf

As far as the low amenities rating it's not their fault because of Covid-19.

Was in town for my sons birthday. I had played Paiute Sun a few years prior and he was very much looking forward to playing Paiute. The course outstanding. Beautiful and scenic. Great practice facilities. The only negative was our pairing. Very nice people but we played the 18 holes in over 5 hours and we waited on no one. I normally play in 4 hours or less. But other than that is was great.

The Wolf course at Paiute is hands down the best course on property. While course conditions are comparable among all 3 courses, the layout at the Wolf is by far the best and is worth the drive to play alone. Pairing the Wolf with Sun or Snow Mountain (both good courses just not as good as the Wolf) make for a great full day of golf and definitely worth the drive from Las Vegas. The wind often blows across the property, we played it on a particularly windy day which makes scoring very difficult. If you get the option, pick a calmer day to venture up to Paiute. Consistent conditioning and service make the golf a good value. Highly recommended for a 36 hole day.

The course was in excellent shape. Will definitely play here again.

This course is a challenge for all level of players

What a treat. Played on a beautiful fall morning. First tee time of the AM, played in just under 3 hours, and that was having to slow down a bit having caught up with maintenance. A lovely course, tough but fair layout, and immaculate conditions. Staff clearly work hard and lovingly to keep the course up. Greens are tough -- just remember, everything rolls faster toward the strip.

1st time playing Wolf today. Course is immaculate. This is the best kept course that I have played in vegas. 15th hole island green is unique and one to remember. Would 10/10 recommend, will come back to play it again.

The Wolf at Paiute is one of the toughest courses I have played. I didn't feel there was a single hole you could let up on without fear of making double or worse. The course was already made difficult by Pete Dye and then the desert wind turns into a nightmare in some cases. While I keep talking about how difficult it is, I really enjoyed my round. The course makes you feel like you have chances and then you realize how bad mishits are treated. The island green is the obvious signature hole, but the other holes offer plenty to look at as well. While the routing blends together a little at times, the course earns the recognition it gets.

Oversubscribed 4:35 a round. Course Marshall monitoring wolf course at around 1345, a disgrace. Didn’t want to listen to my constructive feedback. Told me the weekend Is about Paiute making money and anything over 4hrs is due to an inadequacy on my part. Without context that last comment was quite funny but if I wanted a comedian I’d go to Benny Gs. Play here twice a week, will give it a miss for a while due to marshaller. Cutting grass with legion of course maintenance workers throughout the front 9. Shocking experience

When I find a decent deal, I like to come play here especially when temperature is hot. Due to higher elevation, the courses here are always 10 to 15 degree cooler than the courses near the strip. Checking in was an issue. I had the tee time booked prepay via golfnow but they didn't have my booking on their tee sheet. Luckily, there was opening otherwise, they said we would not have been able to go off until opening was found. Now to actual golf. Starter was great and pace of play was brisk 3.5 hrs for our 3 some and that's with us waiting on about 5 holes due to 3 some ahead of us were busy drinking. Layout isn't too difficult and conditions here are always top notch. Not sure how they can keep the grass here so lush and greens rolling fast. It does get windy and price can be high but course is definitely worth the 35 min drive from the strip.
