Forget everything you've heard about that gentler, kinder Pete Dye at Paiute. When you step onto the Wolf Course at the Las Vegas Paiute Resort, the legendary architect with the cold hacker heart returns. And then some. The newest of the three Paiute courses, comes in at a staggering 7,604 yards.

And it's an isolated 7,604 yards. You don't only get lost in your round here. You could almost literally get lost in the desert with a few wrong turns off the cart path. Drives that go flying off target deep into the desert areas are unlikely to found by another human ever. A rattlesnake might be keeping your Pro V1s company for the rest of their days. This is stunning scenery, capable of leaving the most cynical hacker open mouthed.

Paiute Wolf is just a far enough drive away from the Sin City hustle that it's likely the top, high-end course you can easily get on last minute in the Vegas valley. It also might be the best of them all.

The course was really really great and every aspect! Course conditions were great fairways greens, tea boxes everything was Well manicured in every aspect. Well worth the drive. Strongly advised playing early in the a.m. for a comfortable temperature. If you are there in the June or July times. Pro shop. Staff was great as well. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Beautiful Course!

It’s unbelievable how beautiful this course is for the value. From your first interaction at bag drop to the pro shop experience, you can tell grounds are care for and the staff taken care of.

I played 18 holes and was paired with an experienced golfer. The pace of play wasn’t an issue as the group before us finished quickly and I was mindful to take my losses as a newer golfer as to not hold up anyone behind me.

The cart girl came buy frequently with refreshments and there was a snack stand near hole 10 where you could hydrate if needed.

Hole 15 was a beautifully designed island and was very noteworthy but the course overall was breathtaking. I’ll definitely play this course again!

great tracks and conditions out here; facilities are first class; the wind makes it pretty much unplayable out at the Paiute so beware; a steady 30 mph all day long in spring and 115 degrees in the summer so beware!!

Excellent course, very well maintained.

Good value for what I paid. However, I am a high handicap golfer, and this course is not for me. Plenty of restrooms and a nice food/beverage facility on the ninth hole. A very nice course if you have money and play bogie golf or better. Beautiful views, very peaceful. Pay of play was brisk and golfers are expected to keep up. No dilly-dallying. For a good golfer this is a 9+ course overall. Wonderful experience for good golfers.

First time on this course. Snow course was excellent previously as well. Teeing off mid-day does require waiting at each tee box but not excessively. Beautiful setting, medium fast greens, friendly staff. Makes for great afternoon.
