The Biltmore Golf Course
About
The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables sits next to the beautiful hotel, an architectural masterpiece that was modeled after the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. Donald Ross designed the course in 1925 and the traditional layout has retained all of its original character. The golf course weaves through a series of canals that used to carry guests along in gondolas. The canals run alongside the lush fairways while towering banyan trees frame the elevated greens. Offering views of the historic hotel from nearly every hole, there are carts available but the golf course is worth the walk. The layout is popular not only for its historic scenery and verdant setting, but also for its playability. Over the years the Biltmore has been host to a number of professional golfers and celebrities ranging from Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods.

Playing golf in a historic place.
The condition of the course was excellent, both fairways, bunkers and greens were very well cared for, and the attention of the staff was fantastic. We had problems at one point with the weather, rain and thunderstorm. We had to stop playing and the golf office offered us the chance to keep our place and play another day. Great gesture. Very good relation cost quality. We will play again without a doubt..
Great course
Played on mother's day, course was quite empty, had a blast. The new layout is really much better. Wish they would give me the resident's rate though, as i live literally 5mns from the course...
Good value for CG city resident
Staff and service where excellent, we had pouring rain at the 9th and were given a rain check for the remaining 9 holes with an option to play a full 18 at a special rate. Some areas of the fairways and roughs needed a little work but otherwise it was good greens (fast), bunkers, fairways and tee boxes. It gets busy on the weekends but the ranger is on top of play and moved a 4 play of beginners so the pace was good overall. Definitely recommend playing here.
Great old course
Great old Donald Ross course and while some of the course shows some minor ware she looks bright and shiny to me. The green we're in excellent conditions and must hit the ball in the right places. I always try to play this course when in Miami, thier in the process of updating the outdoor facilities the course is good
Fun Layout, Room for Improvement
Mature banyan trees on many holes provided much needed shade (we chose to walk the course). Very walkable in under 4 hours - pace was great. Condition of greens was decent, but the rest of the course left a little to be desired - seems.a little tired.
Staff - starter was very friendly; ranger passed by a few times but said nothing; pro shops folks were solid.
Maintenance crew was loud and in our way much of the front 9. For a course of this caliber, we were shocked that they mow/blow the fairways and work on bunkers during play.
5 1/2 hours of agony
I am not sure if this is a result of other courses being closed, but my round was a disaster. At least a 10 minute wait on every tee box, including a 35 minute wait on hole 7. No one enforcing pace
Great course!
First time playing the Biltmore and I was pleasantly surprised! The greens and fairways were in fantastic condition. This is a fun, challenging course perfect for intermediate players.
Fast and true greens
Course was in very good condition with a fair, playable layout and fast, true rolling greens that had challenging undulations.
$30 course
Essentially a municipal course. Terrible condistions. The only reason I played was because i was staying at the Hotel.
I reached out to the course manager by email however he didnt respond....
Don't play here
Must Play
This course is in great condition. It won't disappoint.
A solid 4*
Price is high! I felt that I was paying for their renovation instead of a resort course. The course is great and looks beautiful in most areas. Staff was nice but I had to work to get a cart before the first tee. Beverage carts are rolling around and very good. I've played premium courses when I travel but sometimes Florida seems about 20% overpriced for golf and experience.
