The Biltmore Golf Course

After several months of renovation and re-design with re-sodding, plus the addition of 14 bunkers and stretched-out holes, The Biltmore has re-opened for business, perhaps earlier than ideally desired. While the true-rolling greens and fluffy bunkers were in splendid condition at this much-beloved track, the fairways and tee boxes need a few months of rainy, humid weather to fill out, particularly on the front nine. And it was cart path only for the two of us as we labored behind a pair of walking! senior players who were often cantering all about, determined not to let us play through until the 12th hole. After that, we zipped through with nary a player in front of us, nor the beverage cart gal, who disappeared after the front nine. As usual, all of the Biltmore staff were polite and professional. Though I did not eat there after this round, the 19th Hole restaurant offers beautiful views of the course from outdoor tables, as well as tasty food. The $45 Hot Deal was worth a visit to play on my former home course,, but a return visit will not happen till May or June.

Course was beautiful but got paired up with slow drunk players and got rushed by the marshall the whole time wasn't fun

Having recently moved to the area, I was excited to try this course based on colleagues’ recommendations. My expectations were reasonable given the green fee, but pace of play quickly became an issue. After the 5th hole, I raised the concern with the marshal, who explained the group ahead were club members in a match and that the club prioritized their pace over others—odd for a public course.

By the 12th tee, I had already spent 3.5 hours on the course and faced a 15-minute wait, so I ended my round after 11 holes. In the pro shop, one staff member was attentive, but their supervisor dismissed my feedback outright. My comments were delivered constructively, never confrontational, yet the dismissive response left me with little desire to return.

Car paths are in progroces to be redone, temporary tees in number 7, very bad conditions of fearwys (aireation). They should charge half of the price for conditions like this. Dont expect to find a great course that usually is.

The course is good, but there is always room for improvement.

Enjoyed the layout of the course. Plenty of challenges throughout the course. However the pace of play was horrendous. Front nine took 2 hrs and 54 minutes. Back nine 10,11,12 was another hour. I picked up my ball and proceeded to pass other groups. Two Foursomes were stacked on the same hole for each of the next four holes. Marshall was none existent or just too scared to say anything to the slow groups.

I would like cash back because I played just 4 holes

The course closes all the afternoon because the rain.

I would ask for a refund due to weahter please

I absolutely loved this course! Excellent conditions and such a beautiful property. I played the whites and it was a bit short. Would likely play the blues next time. Will definitely go again when I’m back in Miami!
