The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables sits next to the beautiful hotel, an architectural masterpiece that was modeled after the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. Donald Ross designed the course in 1925 and the traditional layout has retained all of its original character. The golf course weaves through a series of canals that used to carry guests along in gondolas. The canals run alongside the lush fairways while towering banyan trees frame the elevated greens. Offering views of the historic hotel from nearly every hole, there are carts available but the golf course is worth the walk. The layout is popular not only for its historic scenery and verdant setting, but also for its playability. Over the years the Biltmore has been host to a number of professional golfers and celebrities ranging from Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods.

Fantastic Day of Golf

I highly recommend playing Biltmore it was First Class and it made for an impressive day of Golf!

Everything was perfect! Great Greens and course conditions were very good.

It’s hard to get to so leave early for your T Time because of traffic

Amazing course!!

Course was well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful being our first time. The golf cart was clean and ready to go with complimentary tee’s and sweat towel; they ride very smooth and the screen is easy to use. The “fairways” restaurant was a great place to grab lunch and enjoy delicious cocktails while talking about todays game. Will definitely be coming back!

Bad management!

I got to the course around 1:40 for a 2;21 tee time. The parking lot was packed. You cannot bring a cart to your car or to the bag drop. They are supposed to have a guy roaming around to ferry you, but he wasn’t around. I was exhausted by the time I got to the cart area. Sunset was 5:50, and the previous day at another course I finished at 6:10 in plenty of light. But about 5pm they started sending messages that the carts had to be in 20 minutes before sunset. Outrageous. When I got the cart back at 5:35 (15 holes total), the cart area was mobbed with carts. So then I had to lug my bad even further to get to my car. I’m never going there again!

A Donald Ross gem

The routing was great, the trees and the risk reward shots and of course the greens were all great. The fairways were in good shape, but the tee boxes were a bit torn-up. Pace of play was slow and. Could have used some better rangering.

Worth the price if you get a hot deal

Staff was great, was met in the parking lot and shuttled to the pro shop. Range is ok with just mats putting green is large and rolls the same as on course greens. Course has a good layout and wind is always a factor. Would play again.
