Trump National Doral Miami - Red Tiger Course

Great course, great conditions. Going back again this week.

It was a nice course but I was expecting more given the price and the Trump brand. We were particularly disappointed in the lack of service and the confusion from bag drop to the first tee,, and from the cart return back to our car. Basically do it yourself, and it was a trek with little direction on where to go. There was no marshal to address slow play, which was needed given the variability among the players on the course.

I was paired up with a couple of ladies who had no idea of golf ethics and spoke no English at all. I was also hit twice with golf balls from other fairways and not one apology. One hit resulted in breaking the skin and bleeding on my thigh. I actually quit after 12 holes because I couldn't take anymore. I told the starter and nothing was done.

Amazing day of golf on the Red Tiger course. The weather was perfect with no wind, so that helped. This course will play much harder with a gusty wind. The greens are lightning fast, yet pure. You’ll use every club in the bag. Lots of risk/reward shots. I’ll be back to play the other courses on site. Thanks to a wonderful staff for an awesome experience.

Some of the holes were very tough with wind, a par 5 tee shot over water and palm trees, only single digit handicaps could carry palm trees on that windy day. If windy & first time playing, not that enjoyable

First time playing at Trump Doral. Appears they booked as many groups as possible. Playing pace is extremely slow.

The course has a very fun and interesting layout, and the conditions are ridiculously nice. One of the best conditioned courses I’ve ever played by far

Had an awesome round on the Red Tiger. Purse was in perfect condition. Supposedly this is the easiest course but I can tell you, it ain’t easy. We are playing the Golden Palm and Silver Fox tomorrow. Pumped!

Trump International Doral is definitely Miami’s premier golf resort.

People that say short courses are easier than long courses need to check themselves. Although this course seems short, it is quite difficult. Shot selection and accuracy is key here. Par 5's that seem approachable in two, can punish you if you approach them in two. This course will make you use most of the clubs in your golf bag. The greens were fast and tricky with lots of breaks. I played with two regulars who gave me great pointers and I'm glad I listened to their advice. Everything about this course, like all Doral Trump courses is perfect, from the tees, to the fairways, bunkers and greens. 5 out of 5 stars, no doubt!

Very nice course, water comes into play almost every hole with the except of a few. Shot placement is very important on the Red course. Conditions were wet so Carr path only. Played as a twosome. Parking fee. Drinks are very expensive. Great staff very helpful, some amenities closed.
