This course lived up to the reviews I read. Fantastic views, excellent greens that had a lot of breaks. Just a great golf experience. I wished I lived closer. But, if you are going to be in the area, make sure you play here. If you don't like playing tough courses, then you probably should NOT go.
Great mountain course
One of the most beautiful and fun courses to play in WV.
Great course. Poor rain check policy
The course was in great shape. Our only complaint was when one of our members had to leave because of health conditions and rain after 9 holes. He paid the full $55 for his round & was given a rain check for $17.50. Fair or not this is their policy. Otherwise this is a great course.

Don't tell anyone!
This course is such a gem & a great value that I hope it doesn't get any more crowded than it is! Other than some sand on the greens it is in perfect shape. I have no idea how they keep all the leaves off the course but they do. We play it every year even though we drive an hour & a half to do it.
Can't be 5 star course with 3 Star greens
I was really excited to play this course. It's not everyday you play a 4.9 rated golf course for under $100. Thanks to a hot deal I played for a lot less. Check-in was quick and was on the course in a hurry - after paying $8 for a rider. Pet peeve, why charge for a rider if you send me out as a single? However, 8 bucks isn't too bad compared to Troon courses. Course has great mountain views and the fairways and tee boxes are bright green. Rough is thick and also very green. The only problem was the greens. They seem to have been cored recently and nothing rolled true. The ball bounced and was covered in sand. Nothing on golf now or the course website. Some of the greens, number 10, were more sand than grass.
Loved the layout, and course was a 5 tee to green. Cart was kinda beat up and the greens were almost unplayable. Would have loved to have seen how this course plays with firm, smooth, fast greens. Long drive to play a course that wasn't in great shape.
Staff friendly. Course overall great shape. Typical mountain course with not many level lies. The scenery makes it worth the trip. Great value
I wanted to love it
Went on a Saturday midday. The pace of play was very slow and the course was very sloped, including the greens. On the fourth hole, we noticed there were 5 carts on the 9th tee box.
Shirt's were worn not tucked in and some tee-shirts were worn. Not exactly a classy look for a golf course. It seems like a local's course. I'm glad I checked it out, but have the expectations of a nice, average public course located in a very out-of-the-way location.
Course is in excellent condition. This course is a hidden gem.
