EastWood Golf Course

While the greens are in good condition, fairways, bunkers, and lakes are in extremely poor condition. The course drains poorly and was muddy and wet.

Extremely wet and high grass. Not ready for play. Should be cart paths only or walking. It is sad so many bad golfers have damaged the fairways by driving with poor ediqute.

The course was flooded with water from previous rain days. Very poor maintenance and not taking care of. This course used to be very good and excellent design. But it is going down hill with poor management cares. Too bad! I love the course design!

I have played about 70 courses around the country and this was by far the worst course I have ever played. The course was under water and they told me it was in good shape to go play. There was no difference in the fairway and rough, it looked like they hadn’t mowed in about two weeks. Finally, there was one guy out riding around on a mower and drove right in front of me as I was about to hit a tee shot. Then he also drove up on and around the green while I was putting. I told management about my experience afterwards and they just said they would make a note. Horrible experience!!!

The overall layout is not bad. Plan on losing a lot of balls on the fairways due to loose mowed grass. Home owners use the course as their personal park. Had to ask a lady to move her kids and dog off a tee box. Yes it is a wet course, but that is not the real problem, it is maintenance. The course lacks the proper mowers to maintain the fairways. The level of golfers is low and lack proper course etiquette. Driving carts around the greens seems to be ok. The staff is friendly and try their best to make your golf enjoyable.

Greens were in great shape, so they had that going for them, which was nice. Rest of the course was overgrown. Difficult to tell the rough from the fairways.

This is the poorest maintained golf course I believe I have ever played. It is a joke! I just can't believe the owners allow it.

For the price I wont complain at all, honestly this is a nice course I just can not understand what it takes to simply cut the grass. The T boxes, and the greens where very nice, there is no fairway because there is no definition of either ones. The par 3 are awesome is the only holes that are worth playing. Maintenance needs to get to work.

Those were my observations sorry its just the truth.

the greens are in great shape. the rest of the course is a disaster. hasn't been mowed in over a week or two, even the fairways have knee high weeds. it looks like it's about to close down. I won't play here again, waste of time and money. and for someone who only gets out 1 or 2 times a month, I can't afford to waste an opportunity to play on a course like this. I would not recommend.

I honestly really like this course, so I only rated this low due to the current conditions. There's been so much rain the past 3 weeks, that the course was pretty much exactly what you'd think after that much rain. There was no difference between the rough and fairways, so sometimes finding your ball in the fairway was tough with the tall grass and ball plugging. The greens were very nice though, as they were recently redone. The course could definitely use some help with bunkers and greenside, but overall this course is pretty good, depending obviously on the recent weather conditions.

The course hasn’t been mowed in a while. I get that it has been raining but if you aren’t gong to maintain it then don’t let players on the course. I brought someone on the course for the first time. Conditions were embarrassing. On the fairway we had to look for our ball because the grass was so long. On the fairway!!!

This course is in terrible shape and is basically a mud field cowpasture. This course needs a lot of work and was basically flooded and virtually unplayable. Fairways were in near ankle deep water. Course was covered with enormous ant mounds and weeds and cart paths were in under water and the driving range was closed. Although there has been a lot of rain in the Orlando area, this course has never been in the best shape but was starting to get a little better. This course is months from ever being decent enough to play and that’s only provided that they actually try to take care of it. We came to play 18 but only finished the front 9 after only playing only 4 out of the 9 holes. Thankfully the pro shop did the right thing and gave me and my playing partners a full refund because this course in no way shape or form worth the $27 green fee.

A year ago I said I would never play this course again. It was a total goat ranch. Now greens are as good as any course I’ve played on. Fairways and around the greens still are pretty bad. They are definitely going in the right direction. I think soon they will be back to the old Eastwood, that was my favorite course.

Having read many negative reviews about this course I've always given it a swerve.With the conditions of weather I didn't want to pay lots then get rained off. I purchased this on a hot deal,so didn't know what to expect.

Well what a surprise I we got. Staff lovely,greens fantastic,course layout great.

However there are some negatives,T boxes need some maintenance,as the rain has been bad ,the fairways were ok.

I ask myself would I go and play again, Absolutely,see u soon.

This course had got rough, a lot of work went into it and it was very enjoyable to play

So I arrived for my round a little early and was met by a very friendly staff in the pro shop, she told me about the new greens that they had there along with how the course was playing that day. Met up with another single at the first tee box and we played together overall the course was in great shape. There were a few tea boxes that had some bare spots . The greens were excellent and rolled very true. No bumps only a few bare spots on the fringe of the green. That sand traps were in decent shape. I would definitely come back to play this course because it is a great layout.

Really enjoyed the vibe. New greens so a few patches here and there.
