Excellent value for money

The course was well presented and a pleasure to play, especially for £12 each. The only downside for us was, in places, it could be a bit of a 'bomb alley'. Lots of tee boxes close to previous greens and a few parallel fairways. I would imagine when the course is busy, there will be a lot of FORE shouts. Having said that, it was in great condition and we would certainly visit again (but only at a quieter time).

A bit soggy

Course was quite wet in places. Normally quite a good course with friendly staff, will return when course dries out a bit more

Spring golf

Good course which has been much improved. Weather excellent. Course has dried out well from the winter rains. Greens very bobbly after holotining and sanding but will be excellent as weather improves.

Overall very good.

Poor condition

The course normally is in great condition but after teeing off we soon realized the course was far too wet and muddy, the greens were covered in sand which we were not told about ,l think £20 to walk around a muddy field for 4 hours was too much , hopefully next time we play the course will have recovered and be good to play ,

A frosty day out

We arrived early and were warmly greeted in the club shop which has all you need for playing & refreshments. We were given a score card and advised of the winter playing conditions / rules of the course. Due to the temperature the course was very challenging but this made it a more enjoyable day. We managed to get 16 holes in before the light got the better of us. We will definitely be back in the summer. The clubhouse was friendly and warm and after a pie & pint and a reasonable price we left planning our next visit.

Lovely greens!

Took my clubs whilst visiting the in laws. This is the closest course to them. The course was lovely, especially this time of year. Greens were stunning.

Will definitely visit again.

Maintenance

The amount of maintenance being carried out on the course ( bunker wall heights and drainage), should have reduced the green fee. We paid £23. Other courses under less maintenance have charged far less.

Saying that, the greens were in very good condition and all greens and tees were available ( not winter ).

Miserable members

Three miserable members , they tee'd off 10.45 behind me and my brother we filled a 3 ball , the 3 behind us 2 on a buggy were up our backsides all the way around hitting balls when we were still on green not shouting fore , they basically chased us around, we've played here about 6 7 times over last few months but won't return in a hurry due to these members especially the one driving buggy attitude was disgusting rant over great course great staff shame they have members like that

Will come back

I recently had the pleasure of playing a round of golf at this course, and I can confidently say it was an enjoyable experience that I plan to repeat. I teed off early, at 7 am, which gave me the advantage of a peaceful morning round. The course itself is a great mix of challenge and enjoyment, with some tricky obstacles and varied terrain that keep things interesting. Despite the challenges, the fairways and roughs are quite forgiving, making it accessible for golfers of all skill levels.

The only downside to my experience was the presence of the greenkeepers. While it's understandable that course maintenance is crucial, they were preparing the greens and bunkers during my round and didn't make an effort to move out of the way or allow me to play safely past them. This was a bit of a distraction, but I must note that all the staff I interacted with were very friendly.

Overall, I had a great time on this course and look forward to returning soon.
