Hobson Golf Club

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but really enjoyed the course. Fairways in good condition and excellent greens running quick and true. Not a particularly long course, but definitely a thinking course, shot placement important on most holes. Looking forward to playing there again. Excellent value fir money would recommend to all golfers if any handicap.👍👍👍👍👍👍

The course is great. Nice and flat. Had a lot of long holes and a few small par 3s. Majority of fairways are quite wide. Not many hazards apart from bunkers. Nice little shop on site. And club house is good too

Group of senior or veterans teed off and hit balls through us and then stormed up to tell us to leave as there was a large group of them behind. They refused to play through and told us to go over from 1st hole to 14th. Felt very harassed and after paying full visitor fees we were only able to play 6 holes. Very upset and disappointed after having the course recommended. Complete waste of time and money because of rude and dangerous people. Thankfully no one was injured.

Great course at a very reasonable price. Lovely layout and in excellent condition with super fast greens and difficult pin positioning making putting very testing.

Reasonably flat course with a few slightly sloped holes making it not to taxing on the legs.

Only problem of the day was it was very busy which is probably due to the popularity of the Club so would maybe book for later in the day

Course was way over booked, backed up from the off, waiting to play every hole, didn't even finish round as it got worse further on we got around and got more and more frustrated. Twice it's happened at this course now.

Lovely course..super friendly staff in the pro shop..the course is immaculate and follows a nice route round..will definitely go back.

A last minute booking on golf now! Very reasonable price! Very pretty course! Pro shop was very accommodating in letting us hire a buggy so late notice!

It was my first time playing at the Hobson. I couldn’t fault if whatsoever. It probably had some of the best greens I’ve ever played on. Some tricky holes but most holes have a wide fairway. Which is good so people like me who sometimes have a mean slice. I would definitely recommend.

Played this course a few times now and was looking forward to my round on sunday. But played it on Sunday and it should have never been open fairways where like playing in a swamp very disappointing. Waste of money and time

In general course was very wet but there had been a lot of rain that week so didn’t expect anything else will be back to play it in the summer nice enough course

Only a few days prior to our game the course was frozen solid under a covering of snow and yet the green keeping staff managed to have most tees and all permanent greens in play only three days after reopening which speaks volumes about the amount of effort that is currently going into course maintenance and puts some other nearby so-called "prestige" courses to shame - top marks to all the staff at Hobson - keep up the good work!
