Great course
Course in great condition, especially the greens, very true and consistent, a good test for all golfers.
Great course and friendly staff in pro shop
The greens were in good condition and run true. The course was in good nick and it is quite challenging and quite hilly so you need to be in good shape to walk it. The staff in the pro shop was very friendly and made you feel very welcome. I never went into the clubhouse so I can’t comment on hospitality etc.
Golf Course review
Course was well maintained. First time playing there and didn't realise it was so hilly! Friendly staff. Great Course only issue was the tees were very close to the greens on certain holes but not sure this would bother me when I revisit this Course.
Stunning
Quite simply a stunning course, every hole is an individual challenge and will look beautiful in the summer months. Knocks socks off anything else locally and makes other courses look, well, boring
Lovely course
Cant make comment on the staff yet as i did not go into clubhouse or shop as another member of my group checked us in but the course is in excellent condition for the time of year! And the greens are on fire really challenging and quick.
Hats off to the green keepers for keeping the place in such good condition over winter, will definately be returning and strongly considering joining.

Greens poor and first cut rough muddy.
Would be good once greens sorted and mud dries out
Nice course
South Moor GC is nice.
Really enjoyed the round of golf,however ,the course lacks in signs for the next hole and information on each hole.
Will be stunning in the summer months
Unfortunately due to the time of year the course was very wet and we had to play off little peices of mat on the fairways, which 9 times out of 10 went further than the ball. Larger sized mats with a little bit more weight may elevate the problem. The rain kept off and we stayed dry, from the knees up. ps. It will be stunning in the summer months.
Should have been closed
We played the course on new years day it should never have been open.
Mats had to used on fairways and rough to protect a course whi h was alteady unplayable.
No staff or amenities were open, so its difficult to judge when even the pro shop was closed.
We played as far as we could but walked off after 7 holes.
Although it was new years day,no one even noticed we were even playing
wheres my money
didnt even play due to snow course wa closed tried to get my money back but GOLF NOW said course was open
