About
The Navy Golf Course Seal Beach is a 27-hole facility that includes the championship Destroyer Course and the nine-hole executive Cruiser Course. The 6,780-yard Destroyer Course presents a challenge even for low handicappers with a slew of hazards coming into play throughout. The small greens have challenging slopes ranging from subtle breaks to dramatic drop-offs. To make them even tougher, you'll find strategically placed bunkers lurking along the edges. The tricky doglegs, which are mostly par 4s, will force you to think carefully about your club selection, and to top it all off, water makes an appearance on almost every hole. It's a long golf course that feels even longer due to the rolling terrain, but it is more forgiving than it seems with long, wide fairways that won't penalize you for being slightly errant.

Navy Destroyer
Had a real good time at the Navy Destroyer course, the staff was great as always, we were a twosome behind two slow foursomes, that was the only complaint, the course is in great shape, greens are good and true, sand is back to normal, so all in all if you have a chance give it a try.
The only complaint is I think Navy Destroyer has priced it self too high, I kinda understood when we had the pandemic price hike that all the courses took advantage of us golfers, but Navy is not worth 70 dollars plus when the service members pay 20 bucks, I’m for service members, but I pay taxes also, they really take advantage of the regular public on this one, shame on you, with out the public you might go out of business, I said my 2 cents, have a great round

It was ok
I thought it was an Ok, but I wish there were some hills and rocks.
It wasn't the best and I didn't get to finish my round, but I will definitely come back.

Good value overall
This is a nice and challenging course. Conditions were very good considering the severe drought going on in the west although some water hazards were dry lakes. Only issue was the pace of play, but except that during the weekend. We weren’t able to finish before sunset. I’d like play this again when in SOCAL next time.

A fine course with some good challenges
I enjoyed playing this course, teamed up with good players. Greens in pretty good shape - also nicely undulating, fairways and tees in good shape too. A relatively fast round of 4 hours. I look forward to returning soon.

The green condition is a mess.
No matter how pandemic is, management is terrible.Endure $68 and don't go here.It's a $30 golf course. It's $75 on weekends.wow..I'm a single golfer hitting five.
