Pace of play was perfect
Nice course, although I hadn't played it in many years, was in good condition. Played with another single, both of us in carts, 18 holes in UNDER 3 1/2 hours!!
All in all, a great round of Golf,
great threesome
course getting into great condition with greens just aerated and sanded.
Aeration Unknown
Club house under renovation, but not advertised. I was looking forward to having lunch before my round.
Greens were under going aeration, but no warning or advisements from the course or from GolfNow. In fact, I realized the greens were aerated when I stepped on the practice green.
Had I’d known, I would have looked for an alternative course to spend my money and time this afternoon.
Windy
It was really windy today I went but conditions were Fair speed of round was fast plus I walked
Hidden gem
Its out of the way but a fun course to play. Level which makes it great for walking. Sand traps actually have sand in them. Very good value for golfers who like to play allot.
Winter golf
Great on a beautiful California day. Slow play, but he course is in great condition
Course was fine ... greens were quick.
Not a great day on my part, but I can’t hold that against the course. Green were quicker than I was expecting, fairway were fine. Great value for what I paid! I’ll be back, hopefully to shoot a better score.
WILL PLAY MORE OFTEN
quiet without any other foursomes interfering. course in winter conditions ready for the rains.
Awful
The staff was ill tempered and very unhelpful. Carts were terrible and course was poorly taken care of.
Nice course and a real challenge if the wind is blowing
Course is associated with Travis Air Force Base and is well laid out. Several challenging holes, and is basically a flat course so very good for people who have some limitations on their ability to climb hills.
Bad Day
I play the Base a lot. Really do love the course. Friday though, they group of guys (25) tee off, didn't manage the start times so our 1:20 start was a 1:45 start and after an almost 3 hour front side we just went home. Again this usually doesn't happen, but Friday it did. Then the man who is working the pro-shop most days in the afternoon is constantly rude. Rude and gruff is just not necessary and he is always just flat out grumpy. Again love the course and the price, but this day, the whole experience was a let down.
Challenging 18 holes
Great greens, nice fairways , challenging doglegs. A solid 18 holes. If you want beautiful scenery, it’s not going to be your course. Just straightforward challenging holes.
No Pushover, This
This is a good test of golf. While not in terrific shape, it is playable with reasonably smooth greens. The fairways and rough sport several grass varieties and can be inconsistent. The bunkers are so-so. What the course does have is four really challenging four pars on the back nine (12, 13, 16, and 18) along with a pretty good five par (17) to make the back nine worthy of respect. Bring your game.
