Cypress Lakes Golf Course

Found this course on Golfnow. Unknown to me before then. An interesting course worth your time. In great shape from tee to green. Flat so an easy walk, but it is 6500 from whites, so be prepared for a long hike. Trees on site but they offer little protection from the wind which is normal for that area.

As for the golf be prepared to do your scoring on the front, not that it’s easy, but more chances there than the back nine. The 10th and 11th are normal holes, but after that you’ll find yourself playing long par 4’s that also possess old school big dog-legs so they play even farther. Still quite interesting but a bit of a grind.

The golf course is in fair condition. the fairways are well maintained, the greens have consistent roll. A good course for a relaxing round, walkable, it offers enough challenge for those working on their game, and beginners will not lose too many balls on this flat course.

Always a fun and challenging course. Not to windy today, Normally the wind can get you. The pace was a little slow.

Course conditions were excellent. The grounds were in great condition due to the COVID closure which allowed the greens to recover. The course was crowded because it was a beautiful day. Love the wildlife on this course.

Fun to get out and walk a round in 3 hours. Played solo in afternoon. Tee boxes, fairways & greens in good shape. Rough a little high & thick for below average golfer - mowed yesterday though. Great location for windy practice!

Well worth playing. My first time here. As a single, I was placed with 3 middle aged brothers-an added bonus.

For an area that is in drought mode and no rain in all of February, the course was in very good condition.

Greens rolled true. Play to the proper side of the many doglegs or else second shots can be blocked out your approach to the green. A good challenge of golf.

the best fairways and greens anywhere in this part of northern california, especially sacramento area. lengths off of white and blue tees absolutely perfect making for a challenging round.

Played this past Sunday and the pace of play was amazing. As a single golfer I was able to play in 2 hours as several groups waived me through.

Course was windy and had a good mix of par 4 distances although it seemed everyone around or above 400 yards played into the wind.

Par 3's were all reasonable yardages and par 5's the same.

Course conditions were good, although some rough could of been shorter as I lost 2 balls just off the fairways. Greens were in excellent shape but signs were out for aeration on 3/2 and 3/3 for each nine.

Good course, lots of wind and a decent challenge for the mid to low handicap.

First time in 25 years, back at this course. Not a bad place to play in short notice.

Last time I played this course it was in poor condition. But now it's excellent. Sand in the bunkers, fairways are green and greens are excellent. Vast improvement.....

Solid test. No wind and the course played long from the white tees. course was in pretty good shape, and the greens were in perfect condition.medium fast. Good no frills golf course. Worth a try.

This has typically been an average course and fairly easy to get on, the condition of the fairways and greens has significantly improved over the past year. While being a flat course it can be challenging due to the windy conditions (next to Travis AFB), the improved course conditions have made this much more enjoyable.

Although course was on the dry side the greens, teeboxes and fairways were green. Grass tees in the driving range goes along way as well.
