About
Cobblestone Park Golf Club has 27 championship holes that stretch across more than 240 acres of rolling hills. The course has some of the highest points in Richland County, providing panoramic views on nearly every hole. Formerly known as the University Club, Cobblestone Park is home to the University of South Carolina's golf teams. The holes are divided into three nines, each with a unique character, though they are all defined by the rolling hills. The Gold nine is the shortest of the three but thanks to the elevation changes, you don't miss the length. There are strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens and tall oaks and pines line the fairways. In addition to the 27-hole course, Cobblestone Park G.C. also boasts one of the largest private practice facilities in the South, which includes a large driving range, pitching and putting greens, and a practice bunker.

Great layout, recently aerated greens
Full disclosure, they did notify me of an aeration alert before booking. I’ve never seen such a thick topcoat of sand after a green being aerated. So it wasn’t really worth even putting. I also played early so the dew mixed with the sand probably made it worse. That said, super fun course layout. I played from the championship tees and that made every par 5 unreachable and most par 3s over 180. I really enjoyed the challenge. I’d love to play again with normal greens. Seems weird to punch them in late June.

Great Course to Play
You will love the greens if you like fast greens. The pace of play was no problem. Beautiful scenery, I just wish it was closer to my home. I had to travel a little over an hour but it was well worth the trip. I am planning my next time now. It helps if you are Gamecock.

Another Dye Gem!!
This is a absolute must for golfers. With spacious views, blind shots, Island greens, and mind bending shot choices, P.B Dye has his fathers footprints all over these 27 challenging holes. It’s a shame this course is 2 hours from my home or I would play it every day!

Great Course
Given elrecent weather, course was in phenomenal condition. Just wish I could play Gold as we always play Garnet and Black courses.

Already logged 5 rounds at Cobble this year and the course maintenance is stellar for winter golf. Greens are perfect.

One of the best
Moved from NY to SC over a year ago, and now live in this community. This is one of the best golf courses I played at. I brought my friends from NY to play it, and they love it. The pace of play is amazing, never feel rushed. The maintenance of the course is outstanding all year round. This golf course is what made me buy a house in this community. It sold me on this community just by seeing it.
