We had a great time. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Coorse was the best out of the six we have played at HH. Overall a great time......the bloody maries weren’t bad either.

Loved the experience overall. Very solid golf course with excellent course conditions. Greens were rolling true and were medium speed. Staff was super friendly and pro shop, snack bar/grill, driving range, and putting area are all first rate. My dad really appreciated playing the same ball most of the day as the fairways are generous and many of the wooded areas are kept so that’s finding your ball in the woods is likely. Really enjoyed the course, the staff, and the overall experience.

HH Nation is a must for me to play every time I visit HH. Great layout, always in great shape , and a very friendly staff. I highly recommend this golf course

Course was in excellent condition for this time of year. Greens were excellent and a little slower than we are used to but rolled nicely. Hard to find ball in rough so watch ball closely so you see approximately where it comes to rest. Ladies tees are well forward of whites and blues which is nice for the ladies. Played in under 4 hours which is always nice. Also carts had GPS but no USB ports. GPS was very accurate to pin based on my range finder. Usually within on yard of my reading. Great time...will revisit this venue.

Course was in nice condition with only a few wet areas despite the previous days rain. Greens were rolling fairly fast and smooth. Tee time was around 12:30 and we managed to complete the round in a little over 4 hours. Definitely recommend this course for anyone in the area. Will play again when I have the chance!

I play here every week. The staff is great, conditions are good to great. Great layout and quite challenging for a hi handicapper like myself.One of the best Off Island courses in Bluffton.

One of the top ten courses in the Hilton Head/Bluffton area. Course was in winter conditions; however was in great condition. Greens held all shots and tee boxes were in good shape. My only complaint would be range balls being $8/bag. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this course to anyone in the area.

The course layout is fun and the greens were smooth and rolling true. But the price was a little high for the conditions. 8 - 11 was cart path only and the fairways had larger brown patches. We could see this course being worth $70 when it’s in prime condition but not right now. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The range was grass and in great shape better than some fairways. We could see paying $55 right now so try to get it as a hot deal.

My 5th day in a row playing Hilton Head courses.

This course is my favorite so far. Very playable even though there has been so much rain lately.

Generous fairways green were good. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Good range with newer balls.

Lunch menu was limited but understandable for time of year. This is a must play course if $50 or less this time of year

Course was in excellent shape. The greens were wonderful.

HHN was a one time favorite that I hadn't played in a number of years. It was great to get back there again. The course was in outstanding condition especially given the amount of recent rainfall. The staff at the bag drop, in the pro shop and the starter were very accomodating and friendly. I was a little disappointed to see that many of the unique holes from the original layout were victims of the Bluffton Parkway, but the remaining 18 are still solid and a very fair test of golf. This remains one of the best public tracks off the island.

I had been looking forward to playing Hilton Head National for a while since it’s my uncles favorite course in the area and I have to say I actually enjoy a few other courses in the area far more (i.e. Pinecrest is cheaper and it has a better setup and layout). HHN was generally “meh” in terms of course design. The course is well manicured, but charging more than $35 is highway robbery for what is basically a well maintained municipal course. The practice area is a tiny putting green and a driving range with only 12 stalls (there is not chipping or pitching area).

I feel like I am about to shred the course, but it must be said the staff were great.

The only real challenge the course presents is bent grass rye greens which messed with my head in regards to the break on some holes. That said, I still putted the ball well, but I will admit one of my birdies was completely by accident. The huge run up areas make this course ridiculously hard to make a bad shots. This is why I assume it gets such high reviews, if I drove the ball competently the whole round it would have been easy to get down into the 60’s. I got stuck behind a twosome, who was stuck behind a foursome who wouldn’t let anyone through. Once we just skipped them the pace of play was good and I was able to settle down again.

I should be back up in Hilton Head in April and I am hoping to explore some of the island resort courses unless I can get an invite to one of the private clubs I want to try off the island (i.e. The Confederate).
