Hilton Head National Golf Club

Very good course and in good condition. People don't know how to repair ball marks, but greens were in great shape (and recently treated). No houses to deal with along this course and only a few water holes. Traps were a little packed in. Par 3s and 5s not long from blues, and only 1 par 4 over 400 yards. Wish I played better than I did but great fun.

Everything went just great all day. Went off on time and joined 3 great guys to play with Tom,Mike and Peter enjoyed there company. Nice layout with a great mix of holes. Pace of play moved along thru out the round. Condition of course was up to par for this time of year.

Course was in great shape, staff was very friendly. Beautiful layout.

I had the pleasure of playing today and yesterday. From the 'whites' it was a bit of a challenge, but today from the blues was much better.

Blues play around 6150 but lots of wind , some nice par 3's and a couple of great holes. I would definitely play this course over again. Staff is wonderful from the bag drop area to the pro shop, Beveridge cart etc. This place is a treat, the price is very reasonable. My wife enjoyed it immensely as well. Just a terrific place.

After playing another local course in the morning, when scheduled an afternoon tee time at HHN and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! In fact, we should have played here first! Staff was friendly, lots of amenities, and the practice areas were top notch. Course has the perfect amount of trees, water and bunkers. Pace of play was outstanding and GPS on the carts was a big plus. Course is well marked and marshals make sure the pace moved along nicely. Only complain here is the restaurant/bar where the lady handled food and money without using gloves. But the facility and friendliness of the staff more than make up for that! Make sure you play this one!

The course is also very well marked so that you don't have any trouble going from hole to hole.

GPS on the carts is also very helpful.

Played on a very warm day, we were a two ball squeezed in between two 3 balls but the pace was very good. Bit of traffic at the tenth so we joined up with the group ahead who had become a two ball, they were excellent company

Bag drop not particularly friendly but that said , it was the only very minor down side, we had a wonderful round of golf on a great course

Great course love the layout. For a southern course I would call it mildly forgiving. Still a great challenge and I always look forward to playing it. The course is always in good condition and I especially like their greens which are well kept and really roll true.

The course is in great shape from tee to green. The greens are smooth and rolling extremely well for this time of year. The staff is very friendly as always and always are happy to assist you. I also enjoy that there are no houses around so there is no need to cringe if you slice a tee shot. This is also a great time of year to play since its not busy season. The pace of play is better than say July due not as many people in the area.

On a personal note, this was the first golf course I played when I moved to Hilton Head in 2001. I am deeply saddened to hear that they are trying to rezone the area for condo, houses, restaurants etc. Through the years this course has been such a great place to play. Even after moving from South Carolina, I have tried to play here every time I am in town.

Although nothing has been finalized, play here while you can. This course will be missed!

I've played several courses since I've been down here and this was by far the most beautiful well-kept. Staff was amazingly friendly the Ranger kept things moving. Everyone is Very helpful. I will definitely try to play this course again
