About
Formerly known as the University Club, Cobblestone Park Golf Course may have changed names but it still offers one of the best courses in the Midlands. There are a total of 27 holes, which are divided into three distinct nines. The holes stretch across more than 240 acres of rolling hills. The Black nine is the longest of the three and naturally the most challenging as well. A variety of elevation changes come into play, ranging from subtle to dramatic. The golf course even features some of the highest points in Richland County, providing scenic views throughout your round. There are strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout and mature oaks and pines lining the fairways but the challenges are balanced by wide landing areas that are nice and inviting.

Favorite. course in the Columbia, SC area.
Nice layout. Always in good shape. Greens true to practice green. Clubhouse is first class Friendly staff. My favorite course in the area.

An enjoyable round indeed
I don't usually write reviews, but this round was so enjoyable I couldn't pass. Weather was wonderful, just a slight breeze to keep it cool. This course is a very good example of a great course - challenging but fair. If you hit a good shot, you will be rewarded. There is a good mix of risk/reward shots, and straight up challenging shots. Greens were perfect, but it did take me about 6 or 7 holes to adjust to the speed, which wasn't outrageously fast, but more so than I'm used to. Luckily several comebackers saved my score. I just wish I could play this course every day. I know its the best course I've played in the midlands for sure!

Wow!!! A must play
I dont normally give out 5 star reviews but I'm going to here. This place is spectacular. I didn't eat in the restaurant do I can't really comment but the sandwich at the turn was good.
Greens - Perfect
Design - Perfect
Overall condition - Perfect, there were some areas off the main play area with bare patchs but who cares. Sand was good, only in it once.
Not sure what could even be better. I'd I had to stretch, the ProShop was a little underwhelming (not the staff) but the content of stock.
Also, real green to hit to on the driving range could evaluate to a new level.
If you're ever in the area this is s must play.

Tough course
Many elevated greens and lots of elevation changes. Pretty forgiving from the tee boxes but your wedges better be on point.

Great course
It’s the middle of March. The course is in fantastic shape. You would pay double the price at a similar course elsewhere. Great course, great shape, great value.

Not great
Greens were good. Fairway and ruffs were spotty. Not what I expected from other reviews. Booking through golfnow was more expensive than had I called the course myself.

Great Shape
