The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Never got to play as it was cancelled by golf now, so frustrating
Impressive
Can’t believe I’ve been coming to the Valley for nine years and have never played this amazing course. Great amenities, generous fairways, spacious greens, everything immaculate - pretty straight forward but still challenging. It would have been nice if the carts had GPS for distance if you don’t have your own device. I got a great rate on a Hot Deal but Heritage Palms rarely comes up on Golf Now but the next time I see it, I’ll be playing there again.

Excellent condition
Golf now put us on this course for $99 on a Friday morning. We were a little surprised With the shotgun start. We were the only non members on the course that day. Other than that, can’t say enough about the course. It’s in amazing shape. Greens were fantastic. Over seeded roughs in January. Highly recommend.
Very nice course
This is my 3rd time played at this course and find this a gem hidden in Indio. The green very fast and all the holes challenging but not intimidating

I’m a member at PGA West, but on occasion I make the drive over to one of the best tracks in the desert. Not just great golf, but very friendly members. Always a great day!
Heritage Palms
Had a great time playing this course. Wide open fairways, which is great for us mid range handicapers. The course was in incredible shape. I definitely would play this course again
Definitely Recommend!
Golfing in this part of the country this time of year, you have to be ready for courses preping for overseed. This course has handled it better than most. The rough was starting to be scalped down and you could tell that they were backing way of on the water, but like I said, this is to be expected this time of year. Coming from someone who has worked in the golf and baseball groundskeeping industries, this course did a great job still providing a great product while prepping for the upcoming overseed. The teeboxes and fairways were in great shape and the greens were some of the best I've putted on in a while. My only complaint would lack of access to food and beverages on the course. Ice water was provided on the course, but there was no beverage cart on the course on a warm saturday morning/afternoon. Other than that, we had a perfect saturday round of golf!

We’ve played HP before. Had forgotten how good it is. Course in great shape for September in the Desert. Staff was very friendly and pace was good.

Not a difficult course but still challenging and fun.
Great Course Tees for all levels!
Hills/Holt collaboration that offers good challenge to low Handicap Golfers and Great fun for High Handicappers. Just choose the right tees.
Some longer Par 4's from the Regular Tees so you will need a solid drive to score.
Fair peppering of Hazards to keep you interested.
Amazing sand in the Bunkers (best this trip so playable).
Summer in Palm Springs Area so greens a little slow (can't cut too tight with dry hot conditions)
For this time of year the course is in amazing condition.
Beautiful Resort golf layed out to keep the homes out of play.
Facilities are heritage elite top level.
People were top class.
