The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Golf course
Great place to play golf. Good layout and in great condition in this time of the year. I enjoy playing here. Cost is very good thru GolfNow. Personal is also good
Great Value
Played in the middle of the day on a Saturday. Basically had the course to myself. Staff was friendly and had a great mix of holes. Still pretty wide open despite some hazards, houses, etc so it was great opening round before playing tougher courses in the area.
Nice course
This was the first time I had played the course and all of the reviews I had read said it was enough of a challenge but fair, especially for intermediate golfers like me. That was exactly what I found and I will play again here for sure. My only criticism of the course is that the greens were not at their best after some maintenance but they were still pretty true and I have certainly played on a lot worse. I look forward to playing here when the greens are better.
Beautiful Course but greens still not recovered
Second time I've played Heritage Palms, and I would definitely play more times if GolfNow would give us this kind of rate ($22)! I find the staff here to be exemplary and eager to help whenever asked. The layout is very nice with some short par 4's that are not that easy, but interesting. My only complaint was that the greens after being punched (with large holes) over 2 weeks ago are still not recovered and they did not roll smoothly. The rest of the course was in great condition. Nice thick sand in the bunkers... something that is not a given in the desert! I would definitely play here again. C'mon GolfNow, give us these kind of rates in the winter too!
Great course
Heritage Palms is a great course for the intermediate golfer, challenging but not too hard. This course is also immaculately maintained. Favorite course in the valley.

A challenging test but not Ridiculously tough.
Course was in great shape although the greens had been
aireated.
Good for everyone
This is a nice course for all ages and skill levels. It also is a good warm up course if you're a little rusty. There's very little trouble with nice broad fairways and only a few water hazards. It has more of an old school feel than the newer resort courses, but it's in as good condition as any of the resort courses I've played in the Palm Springs area.
Bombs away!
Wow! Wide open fairways make it nearly impossible to go out of bounds. (That is, as long as you can land a shot within fifty yards one way or the other of your aiming point). Bomber friendly fairway width and great conditions make this place a super fun place to play!
Nice course, pleasant staff, Greens starting to have issues
Staff was very nice, from the cart attendant to the pro shop staff. Fairways are generous and like a carpet. The greens look like they are starting to be impacted by a fungus or something else, some areas are getting sparse, I suspect the unusual amount of rain this winter. This happens and I would guess once the sun heats things up it wil recover nicely. I would definitely play this course again.
Fun and challenging
Great course from back combo tees. Greens are always near best in the valley.
Enjoyable Course
I enjoying playing this course because it is always in amazing shape and has it challenges without being too difficult. Would highly recommend for a round when you are looking to boost your confidence but it is by no means a cake walk. Playing the tips certainly makes if all the more challenging although I played from the whites this time but have also played from the tips.

Excellent course
Very nice course overall. Greens are very fast & the staff very friendly. Very hot the day we played but still had a great round.
Shotgun Start?
Didn't realize this was going to be a shotgun start when I booked. Pace of play was not good. It took us 5 hours. Very easy course. Tee boxes and fairways nice but greens were beat up. Mostly dirt. No drink carts no food carts. Just vending machines which they call snack bars. By the time we were finished didn't want to stay to try the grill. Course was pretty.
10 handicapper
If u want to improve your putting this is the fastest course around!!!! The fairways you must hit in order to have a Chance at birdies. In all great course!!!!!! Thank you to the staff and pleasant experience!

The homeowners own this course,maybe you played at a time when they punched the greens but our greens are in excellent condition and pro fast. We play in under 4 hours most days of the week-perhaps weekend with outside players are slower. We rarely use beverage or drink carts during play unless their is a tournament. Our players are out there to play golf and afterwards are clubhouse has a great grill room and outside patio.
