About
TPC Louisiana is situated just 15 minutes from downtown New Orleans but you'll feel like you're at a private nature reserve. When the golf course opened in 2004, Golf Digest ranked it as the fourth best upscale public, course and GolfWeek consistently ranks it in their list of "Best Courses You Can Play." As part of the Audubon Golf Trail, it stretches across more than 250 acres of wetlands along the Mississippi River delta. The TPC Louisiana layout will challenge you with more than 100 strategically placed bunkers and water hazards on several holes. Five different sets of tees allow players of all skill levels to enjoy the course. The PGA Tour tees are the longest, measuring a whopping 7,400 yards. The golf course finishes with its signature hole. For your final test you'll face a tough par 5 with water along the entire right side.

New Friends
It has been raining every day here in New Orleans and the course was in excellent condition even able to play through the rain and the course stayed 90°. I was paired with a random couple from Canada and had an excellent time.
Course conditions
Like the layout and multiple teeing area options but the greens had recently been punched and were very rough and bumpy. It would have been nice to have known this prior to booking. Very disappointed in Golf Now/TPC Louisiana for not making this public. We drove 200 miles (Jackson, MS to N.O.) and left disappointed. We decided after two holes to give each other an automatic two putt b/c these greens were not playable.
What a great day!
The only issue was the sound of the high in race track close by.
Golf now reservation
Relatively forgiving off the tee, typical Dye bunkers protect greens. Water only slightly in play on several holes. Greens showing stressed conditions after the PGA Tour event a few weeks prior but putt smoothly.
Only issue was booking the GolfNow "deal" fails to mention a surcharge for out of state residence. Doubled round fee making it not a deal at all.
Excellent experience
Course is in excellent condition and if stay in the fairways it is a player friendly course. Greens were firm and rolled true. Best course I’ve played in Louisiana. TPC courses are always excellent condition and friendly, Louisiana is no exception.

20 handicap playing on grounds of TPC played tips scored 91 thank you im feeling great course was great played with my cousin down from NY.
TPC Louisiana
Course is in preparation for the Zurich Classic in a couple of weeks. This was my last opportunity to play before the course closes before the Zurich Classic. Great Shape! Greens faster than previous week I played. Highly recommend this course for anyone traveling to the NO area and locals alike.
Nice course, I can see why the pros tear it up
After playing English Turn the day before, looked forward to playing TPC Louisiana to see where the Zurich classic is now being played. The course was being set up for the classic so it was cart path only for us. Which kind of sucked, but understand. With the stands up for the tournament, it was cool playing it as the pros would play it. Definitely play it again!
