This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.

Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.

Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. Poor pace of play

Lets just say poor pace of play is an understatement, the staff tried to help but it was impossible, too many tee times with not enough time in between. It is way to expensive for what you get. Club rentals are not even washed, the clubs do not include wedges.

Greens were slow. I enjoyed the layout though. Interesting that there were a number of places designed to have water that were dry. Pace of play was slow on a Saturday morning. On balance it was a lot of fun and I’d go back.

Fairways in great shape, greens needed a mowing and they are patchy with repair sand, so they got bumpy

Decent Course brutal clubhouse

Popular course always causes congestion. Pace of play, fairways, and on course staff were all great. The clubhouse is a dump. Smells brutal, kitchen is slow, and looks out of place for the rest of the facility. Once that gets remodeled and the greens are all kept up on off season then it will be a great place for weekend golf.

What Happened

Course used to be pristine. And for 200 bucks US for a Canadian it sure should be. Thank God we got it for 65.00 US. Bunkers were hard and wet. Greens were not the greatest either.

Fun layout and friendly staff

The weather was not very good but the staff was helpful and friendly and we were allowed to delay our tee time an hour until weather conditions approved. It was also a very cold and rainy day. The course condition was very good. The greens were nice and we really enjoyed the layout. I'd like to play this course again when the weather is nice and the temps are warmer. This course is worth a play and was an excellent value for the price!

Enjoyed the round here. Course design is good, conditions are quite good for the time of year. Only real complaint is that the greens could have been better, but that's not easy at that time of year. Bunkers were also pretty low on sand.
