This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.

Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.

Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. Bad Look for The Course Right Now

I’ve played this course several times and I’ve enjoyed it. The course has always looked awesome but on this day the greens were one of the worse I’ve seen in quite a while. Watching your ball bounce all over in route the cup isn’t appealing at all. If you book try calling first to get an update on the greens before you go. It’s worth it to wait until the greens are in better shape.

Love This Course

Love to play this course and yesterday was no different. The heat is starting to affect the greens but that seems to be true everywhere this summer. Great group, not too busy (due to the heat) but the course was still well kept and played well. The staff was great as usual.

Worst greens in the valley

The worst greens I've ever seen in Vegas. Not playable at all and no warning was given. Tee times are way to close together so it takes forever. Will not be coming back

Greens are trashed

Chimera is a fun layout. The fairways and tee boxes are in good shape. The greens have a fungus or some other type of disease. Grass is very patchy and bumpy, with large areas that are basically dirt. They're growing the grass longer, which means the greens are also slow.

Fix the Greens Please

Overall a nice course with good driving range and friendly staff. Course conditions pretty good besides the greens. It’s like you’re putting on gravel with all the dirt spots all over every green. Hard to count an actual score with greens this bad. Also, sand traps are all wet and unplayable and might as well be hitting out of mud. I probably won’t play this course until the greens and traps are playable.

Bad greens

The course is great, the fairways are awesome but the greens are OMG bad. Such a nice course only to be disappointed by greens that have dead grass craters all over it. The sand thrown on the green was not much help. I still enjoyed my round, just disappointed by the greens conditions .

Greens and Rangers

The greens here are struggling. Painted dirt with a few patches of grass. Pace of play was great, best I've seen it, but it wasn't busy. The rangers stopped our group three times to remark on pace of play. We let a single and a twosome play through but pace of play was not an issue for our group. We were keeping up and no one was pressing us. The repeated reminders were unwelcome.

Nice Resort Style Course

With exception of the greens which were in rough shape, the course was in nice condition. Not sure what the issue is w the greens but hopefully this will be resolved soon. Pace of play was pretty good until the last 3-4 holes. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Booked last minute as a single on a Sunday afternoon. I appreciated how easy it was to get a tee time. Friendly staff. Giving the place 1 extra bonus because the restaurant is actually pretty great.

I'm deducting stars because:

1) The layout isn't very interesting. I maybe used 4 or 5 clubs the entire time. It didn't force any decisions or challenge me as a 30 Handicap golfer.

2) There are no water jugs along the course!!! It was 99 degrees in the desert, and they don't give you water?!

Ultimately, I think there's better courses in Vegas for the money that I would play again before Chimera.

Conciliation points for all the bunnies and an honest-to-God roadrunner on the course!!

Greens are the worst I’ve ever seen.

I told a friend that I was golfing here and he said to let him know the conditions of the greens because a few years ago they were horrible. I couldn’t believe what I saw. The greens looked like a map. The ball just changes direction on every shot. Absolutely horrible!
