On your next Las Vegas golf trip, make sure to put Chimera Golf Club at the top of the list of "must plays." Opened in July 2003, Chimera Golf Club (previously known as Tuscany Golf Club) is one of the newer golf courses in Las Vegas.

This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.

Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.

Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. An expansive 4,000 square foot patio offers incredible views of the golf course, mountains and Las Vegas Strip. Golfers can take advantage of outdoor dining or just relax after an enjoyable round.

Decent course with friendly staff

Overall I’m pleased with my experience at Chimera. The staff was friendly and the range was very nice. I had a tee time at 1:07 and couldn’t finish because it was too dark outside, and the 18th hole got backed up. The pace of play could’ve been better, but it wasn’t miserable either at about 4 1/2 hours. The layout was good, but nothing memorable in my honest opinion. I would go back, but it wouldn’t be my first choice for Vegas

Only one iasue had

Everything was really good except 1 thing. And that is the sand traps. They ere rock hard and desperately need some freah sand in there. Extremely hard surface in most traps. Difficult to hit out of them. Please invest in fresh sand. Would make the course soooo much better.

Chimera feb 13/23

A little backed up by noon, but weather was good. Friendly staff /starter. Paired up with great twosome. Got windy and cold on last few holes and then my wife got a HOLE IN ONE!!! on hole 17. What a way to end the round. This is her favourite course!

Average course

A lot of construction going on at course. Hit off mats on driving range, bag crew was more interested in moving golf carts around then loading our clubs or cleaning them - even after we gave them a nice tip. The course had a forgiving layout but do not get in the bunkers because they lack sand.
