This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.

Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.

Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. An expansive 4,000 square foot patio offers incredible views of the golf course, mountains and Las Vegas Strip. Golfers can take advantage of outdoor dining or just relax after an enjoyable round.

Friendly staff, nice layout, fairways and waste areas are in great shape. Plenty of views and wildlife. The Bermuda greens go from furry to bare but expected from desert stress. Green side bunkers are lacking sand making them very penal. Very much enjoyed the course.

I played in early April and the green conditions were not good. I played Chimera around the same time last year and the course was in immaculate condition. I was really hoping for the same, but the greens had a lot of dead patches in them this time around. For the price, I was expecting much better greens.

Course was in pretty good condition (the greens suffered a little from the unusual weather, but in better shape than other local tracks). Biggest issue was pace - obviously high season but when you have two groups in front of you with more than a hole open in front of them, and the marshal not getting them to pick up the pace, that's an absolute red flat. Our foursome wasn't exactly playing speed golf either. So overall, yes I'd play again, but I'd rather be first off (provided they don't double tee).

Absolute TRASH, AVOID AT ALL COST

Took 2:55 minutes to play 9 holes. Had to leave after 9, didn't need a 7 hour round. The pace of play was the worst I've seen in YEARS!!! Not only that, the course was simply TRAGIC. The "greens" are just dirt they painted green. The fact they charge 115 per player is nothing short of criminal. The ownership and staff could have EASILY warned us. The outside staff was friendly, and the layout (the front 9) was a good layout, but this does not make up for all the bad. Would love to upload the pics I took, but they're all JPG. Again, save your money, play somewhere else.

Our group, The Golf Gangsters of Las Vegas, love Chimera and it’s a course we keep in our rotation. The course is in great shape: lush-green- & meticulously well manicured.
