On your next Las Vegas golf trip, make sure to put Chimera Golf Club at the top of the list of "must plays." Opened in July 2003, Chimera Golf Club (previously known as Tuscany Golf Club) is one of the newer golf courses in Las Vegas.

This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.

Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.

Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. An expansive 4,000 square foot patio offers incredible views of the golf course, mountains and Las Vegas Strip. Golfers can take advantage of outdoor dining or just relax after an enjoyable round.

Normally love this course

But today the greens looked worse than a baby between Phyllis Diller and Ron Jeremy if it nose dived out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Looked like they were in the process of a re seed. I’ve played here a bunch and normally it is well kept. Disappointed this time, but will still likely be back as the staff is awesome and it’s usually gorgeous all the way through.

Greens have very little grass as a fungus has killed most of the grass. Temp green on hole #5, best green of the 18.

Save your money and play somewhere else!

Good local course but needs to replace every green

Positives

- friendly staff

- good locals rate

- accurate gps in cart

- range balls come w greens fees

- fairways and tee boxes in great shape

Negatives

- the worst greens I’ve ever played on

- pace of play was not good.

- the golf carts were not in good cosmetic shape. Paint splatter. Mud. Etc.

- the driving range tee boxes were set up on a downward slope. There was no reason for this.

- the practice putting green was putting on painted green sand and weeds. All of the balls turned green.

Chimera Golf

The course well laid out, the tee boxes were really decent, the greens weren’t that great all of them were painted so gauging speed and breaks were just about none existent. The fairways were flawless though. Would definitely recommend especially because I love a good priced tee time. The fairways were nice and wide.

Not worth it, greens are all gone, even the starter will tell you.

You have to be close to the hole if you want the ball to go in.

Stay away until they get grass on the greens

The greens were in horrible condition. This was not disclosed to us we paid $42 a person to play on greens that were missing a lot of grass. The bunkers also need more sand and some better maintenance. I will not be back until the greens are in much better shape

Horrible greens

Course should be shut down to repair greens. Shouldn’t be allowed to have this course on golf now without saying the greens are ruined and unplayable.

The course was OK, but the greens were in poor shape. All had some invasive blue green growth that made the greens inconsistent and bumpy. The food at the 19th hole was surprisingly very good and affordable, and was a bit of a surprise given the course condition.
