About
Nestled in the hills of Montverde, Bella Collina Golf Club overlooks not only the vineyards of Central Florida but also the sparkling blue waters of Lake Apopka and Lake Siena. The layout sprawls across more than 1,900 acres of rolling hills, incorporating lush forested valleys and sweeping dunes. Nick Faldo designed this lengthy championship course, which from its back tees stretches to over 7,500 yards. Faldo utilized the natural contours of the land to create a golf course that requires more than just skill or distance. Creative shot-making and careful strategy will be generously rewarded. The diverse terrain provides plenty of challenges as well as a unique and visually stunning backdrop. Bella Collina is known amongst locals as one of the most scenic golf courses in the area. The stunning views and beautiful setting are worth the round alone.

Challenging layout
This course has some great holes. Choosing the right tees will make it a good golfing experience for players of any ability. The greens had been knife aireated recently and some still had cut lines in them. Some greens were very bumpy and were not smooth. Roling the greens should have been done. Holes #9 and #18 are unfair driving holes. A well hit tee shot will sometimes end up in the junk. Correcting the fairway slope on those holes would greatly enhance their playability.

Good facility
Played course using groupgolfer coupon for 69 and replay 25. Course conditions marginal. Greens had speed but very bumpy. Rest of course average. Layout very tricky need to play a few times to know where to miss. The clubhouse is beautiful and worth the drive to experience. Not worth anymore than rates posted above.
Thank you for visiting us out here at Bella Collina! You got a great deal with that promotion but we do like to believe our golf courses value is much more than what you paid. Greens have had a tough growing season the past few months as have most greens in our area. Personally walking Bay Hill's greens this past week ($225 after 12pm) and our greens were in a little better shape then theirs. We hope you decide to come back and play again, and you see a little more value from your experience!
Great track
The course is very challenging and interesting. Be prepared to play out of the sand.

Really difffernt Florida golf experience
Great place, nice people, feels like a private course but people are excellent.
We thank you for visiting us out here at Bella Collina, we are very happy to hear that you felt like you were at a private golf course because we are a private course that allows a limited amount of outside play per day. All play throughout the day from the moment they enter the property should feel as if they are a member for the day even if you are not paying the dues, we strive to bring that service for every member/guest on property.
Orlando trip
The course was in excellent condition except for the rocks in 'some' of the bunkers. I don't like hurting my clubs in a bunker!
We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the golf course! As far as the rocks in the bunkers, we have a local rule that you are able to lift clean and place in the bunkers if you have any rocks around the golf ball. So, next time you play I hope that you keep it out of the bunkers, but in the off chance you find one you will not have to worry about hurting your golf clubs! Wonderful challenging course. Greens were a little rough compared to previous years. They still need to fix holes 9 & 18 re the severe fairway slopes.

Great place, course needs a bit of water
This course obviously has potential to be one of the best in FL. Staff was really nice and professional. Greens were really good but sloped fairways with dry conditions make this course exceptionally difficult for even an above average player. I would recommend playing this course for the amenities and visual appeal but don't think you're going to shoot your best score here. Course knowledge would help against over slopes fairways.
We thank you for seeing the potential of our great golf course, and soon enough we will be one of the best in the State of Florida. We are working to soften a few of the slopes so that the golf course is never unfair in any way but will remain difficult. Beautiful facilities. Unfair slope on fairways especially with dry conditions. A great challenge, if money is invested into course to keep up with the standards of the facility and club house this would be a five star and above course.

Four Brits on holiday in March
Tough but fair course, in ideal conditions. Greens had been aerated so appearance wise, could have been better, but they rolled true and well. Some of the bunkers had not been raked and the consistency of the sand varied. Course design, the clubhouse and the friendliness and welcome from the staff was outstanding. A thoroughly enjoyable day, and I would recommend to others unreservedly

Awesome course!
Had an early tee time and was essentially the first group out. Finished in 3:45. Course conditions were excellent. Staff was excellent.

Great course and facilities but.....
The course is undulating and above the surrounding countryside which, in the moderate breeze that was blowing, made it somewhat challenging. The clubhouse oozes quality and the course was in very good condition. Having said that, the pace of play was very slow and we had to wait on every hole. This is not helped by the number of completely blind shots that one has to play, especially the tee shots on the 2nd and 18th where, at one stage, there were 3 groups on the tee waiting to play the last hole. Has anybody at the course thought about a bell or similar to let the following group know when they can tee off??

Also we will take your suggestion about the bell on 18 into some consideration, although a bell may not be ideal I am sure that we can find something to make this process better on 18 Tee Box.
