Trump National Doral Miami - Red Tiger Course

The course is an excellent layout the fairways are wide enough ,there is a lot of water , but placed will. It is quite a unique layout with 6 par5’’s ,6 par4’s and 6par 3’s. The staff was there to help you with anything you may want.

It’s been a while since I’ve played the Doral Courses, (I used to play them when I lived in South FL, back in the late 1990’s).

It was impressive to go back and see what an upgrade this resort has undergone. The Red Tiger is short on the yardage side, but makes up for it in the defense of the greens and the water in play on almost every hole. The greens were true, fair and fairly fast

Got a decent deal $98.00 for Red Tiger course. Have played the Gold before. All courses here are immaculate, just wish not so expensive. Played as a single and allowed to play thru by foursome in front of me finished in 3 hours!! Lots of fun, shorter distance course but required to be in good position in order to hit greens on approach and hold the green!

Outstanding facility and resort with great staff. Pace of play we found to be slightly slow. Also found the course to be a little dangerous with several tee shots, greens to be in close proximity of one an other.

Played Red Tiger on an extremely busy Tuesday afternoon. Pace of play was glacial until an older couple graciously waved us through. Course features six par 3's, six par 4's, and 6 par 5's. Water on 17 of 18 holes so be sure to bring a few extra sleeves of balls, and your 'A' game. Course is in excellent condition, and the greens are fast. Tons of fun, if you're hitting it straight.

Best golf experience I’ve ever had! From the minute I pulled up the staff was courteous and extremely helpful. The grounds crew were even helpful in giving me a pointer on the terrible shot I had just hit! I flew in from Philadelphia just to play this course and I was NOT disappointed one bit. Far exceeded my expectations! I will be making this an every winter trip and would recommend anyone to play this course!

Great course in great condition! Not as big and long and as the Blue Monster but the bunkering, water hazards and severe greens make it a tough course to score on. A ton of great risk reward choices to be made throughout the round- overall a really fun course to play.

Course design is exceptional. A really fun course. Golf as it should be. A course where you can get a great score if you play well, but won't overwhelm the average golfer. 6 par 3s, 4s, and 5s, with at least a couple of fun driveable par 4s (if you dare to deal with the well placed hazards). Conditioning was superb. Highly recommended. More courses should be set up like Red Tiger, as I think more people would enjoy the game of golf.

Great Trump course-Red Tiger is shorter but still challenging than the Blue Monster and Gold course. We enjoyed a great pace of play and the greens were fast!

Very good experience. I recommend this golf course with pleasure.

The best golf courses you can find in Miami, greens are perfect and fairways too.

A difficult but fun course with a lot of water.

it's doral and it is a trump property, everything was immaculate the carts were nice they had gps, the course was in great shape; the fairways were like hitting off carpet, the greens were smooth and fast but true, not all bumpy or full of pitch marks. the only negative was it was cart path only and that was because of a big storm that had soaked the course the night before. also want to mention that from the moment you pull into the bag drop the staff was exceptional!! it was a great experience start to finish

I've played all the courses at Doral multiple times - even the old Great White course. The Red Tiger gets the nod as the second-best course at Doral. It's not really that close in my opinion, although I haven't played the Golden Palm and Silver Fox since Gil Hanse did some renovation work for Trump.

The signs of hurricane damage are almost gone. Workers were chopping down loose branches and doing some cleanup work during my round. For the most part, the conditioning was excellent given how wet fall has been in south Florida.

Being a shorter course loaded with water, the Red Tiger requires restraint off the tee. The key to scoring is accurate approaches over deep bunkers to elevated greens - not my strong suit. All in all, this is one of America's best courses under 6,500 yards, no small feat considering there are thousands of quality courses in that genre.

Played the Doral Red Course 2 weeks after Hurricane Irma blew through. Starter told us that over 3000 trees were lost or damaged during storm. Such a loss to see so many large trees just toppled with roots pulled out of ground. Crews were working diligently to get course back to playing shape. Greens were in good shape. Only complaints were that the range was open,but no balls available for use and bathroom facilities were closed.

After only 2 weeks post hurricane Irma and the course was in great shape. Most of the ponds are still out of the banks, but the the course was impeccable. Great staff and hospitality.
