Trump National Doral Miami - Red Tiger Course

Great course but rather for low HCP as water comes into play laterally.

Enjoyed the afternoon playing this course. Condition of the course was outstanding - although putting these greens after playing some northern pre-season greens had my speed way off. The layout with 6 each of the the par 5s, 4s & 3s made for an atypical round. Some of the 5s are short and reachable in 2 even for me Water plays frequently. Staff is a. It over the top in helpfulness. Some of it is a bit redundant, but they take good care of their players.

Took an uber to get there so was able to avoid the $20 parking fee

Course was in great shape and play moved extremely well. Was done in 3 and 1/2 hours.

The course was first rate in every aspect. You drove up and your car was valet parked, it did cost $20, however. They took your clubs and placed them on a cart. The practice facilities were to notch, with a driving range, chopping and putting green being available. The course was challenging, but fair. Fairways were fairly open, but needed to avoid the water on your drive. The 18 holes were comprised of 6-par 5's, 6-par 4's and 6-par 3's. We played the gold tees, which was right at 6,000 yards. Even with this yardage, all of the par-3's were fairly long, 170-200 yds. I had a beer and wings in the outdoor area following the round. Thee facilities were great and the staff friendly. I was in a foursome and we finished in 4hrs and 5 minutes. No waiting and pace was smooth. Every cart had a GPS system that also kept track of pace of play. This was a great experience that I would definitely recommend to friends.

This course is not long but very fair, and plenty of challenge.

Sadly high winds made it more difficult but a great course. Real surprise to find at check in that my son was free. Juniors are free at Doral weekdays, not the Blue Monster. Why does Trump not publicise that? Cost me $150 to play Sunday when we could have played Monday! Agh! Perhaps that is why it is not mentioned!!

Played red tiger. Everything here was first class from the driving range, chipping and putting greens to the course. Price a little steep , but great for unique experience. Note you must use valet parking which is $20 for day, but very convenient. Wife able to use pool while I golfed at no charge. Everyone very friendly and professional.

What an experience! Just felt like I was a king there. Great people, amenities, and of course golf!

I've had a chance of playing the silver fox and this course. Although I was extremely impressed with Silver Fox, I thought Red Tiger was a notch up higher in quality, since you don't seem to be as constrained by residential housing next to the fairways as much as you do at Silver Fox. I've played a few courses that have hosted the PGA tour, and this course is up in that caliber. Golfnow offered a killer deal of $59, so the value for the price was amazing. The course conditions were amazing, the fairways, tee boxes and greens were pristine. There are tons of water hazards and sand traps, and the greens have decent undulations and roll pretty true, so make sure to bring your A-game. Carts have GPS and range balls are complimentary. Cart girls come around at least twice per round, and the facilities are second to none, to be expected from a Trump resort.

Sensational course and clubhouse! Unlike any other experience. Red Tiger is moderately difficult and rewards accurate shots, but is not by any means impossible. The course was in perfect condition from tee box to green. Highly recommend. Treat yourself like royalty and play this course! Beware of mandatory $20 valet/parking fee. Only drawback on outing was that we had to wait 20 minutes for clubs to make to our car after the round.
