Trump National Doral Miami - Red Tiger Course

Everything about the experience was fantastic. From the time you drive up, to the facility, to the people, a truly luxurious experience. The greens were tru and were rolling great. The tee boxes were excellent. The red course is shorter than the blue course but has more variety in the course. In the afternoon it gets a little breezy so be ready. Like any resort there are some fees that you will have to pay (valet $20), but if you can afford to play at Coral than you can afford it.

Greeted at arrival to resort wonderful and accommodating first rate course with more than adequate staff and service. The Pro shop was quite different as there was only 1 person working so the wait to get registered was a line behind 8 other golfers and 4+ more behind us limiting our time to get warmed up.

Got a great deal on golf now.. would definitely play again for that price

If you can find a hot deal for this course, it will more than worth it. It is in perfect shape and will not disappoint.

Great course with lots of water and in excellent condition.

Experience completely ruined when we arrived at tenth tee to discover two fourballs on hole and one threeball

on tee. Round eventually took close to five hours.

Beautifully manicured golf course but difficult as well. A true test of golf.

We lucked into this round but I would definitely pay full price when I go back.

It was so awesome from the time we drove up to the clubhouse until we left.

The staff was courteous and friendly.

The starter did have the group behind us right up our tails, they were a threesome, we were a foursome. Not much you can do about that though.

There seemed to be water everywhere although if you keep it straight it really wasn't that bad.

A course like this can spoil you for when you play on "regular" courses. I got a "steal" on a GolfNow HOT DEAL--as a single I paid $40. The course was EMPTY, I played it in 3 hrs, and was taking my time, especially on the perfect greens. My experience can't be normal, but bottomline, the course is GREAT, conditions are perfect. I'd love to play it with some buddies.

Le golf est en excellente condition , les fairways les greens et les bunkers sont manucures ; les challenges sur chaque trou sont différents et intéressants.

Ce que je reproche au golf sont les alentours : immeubles , passage d'avions , manque de "nature ".

Autre point négatif : le practice est gratuit avant notre départ , mais payant par la suite. ..malgré le prix du Green fee. .. .On m'en a interdit l'accès sauf à repayer...

Great experience. I played the Red Tiger course. The staff could not be more accommodating. Expect quality service and amenities when your there you will not be disappointed. The course was in great shape, fun and challenging.

First time and last time playing here. Got a hot deal, but would rather have played the muni I played the day before 3 times for the price of one round here. The property is all things Trump but the golf course is not. Beat up range balls, hitting off of artificial turf, new sod layed around the collars of almost every green. It did not live up to the Trump standard I think it should have. Also, don't for a second think that you are done paying when you check out of golfnow.com, oh no, there will be valets and shuttle drivers and who knows how many other people to tip. Would not recommend...unless you just want to say you played at Doral.

Excellent course highly recommend it

Whenever deals at Trump Doral pop up, it's a given that it's a "must play" course in South Florida!

I enjoyed my round very much.Always wanted to play here and was not disappointed.I would recommend this resort to all intermediates to pros .....

GPS in carts; be aware when you approach the green, the cart shuts off till you go to cart path.

The pars are equally divided: 6 of each 3s, 4s & 5s. Most players are Blue & White, but we were White & Red.

Except for 5&6, Red Tiger was a thinking course management exercise.

#5 had a green with sharp sides leading to water or bunkers. Carry not bad with 50yds from edge before water to green. You need to be high in the air to prevent roll of the green.

#6 had 100yd carry over water and water to the rear of green.

Good condition: Tees, Fairways, Sand (soft) and greens. Bunkers had high to steep lips. Bunkers are many but can be avoided.

Side water galore with sharp drop off. Most roll ins are retrievable. Rough doesn't stop the rolling ball.

Strange to us were the proximity of the Tees boxes. Be careful to read the Hole signs.

Probably one of the best all around experiences I've had at a golf course. Amazing condition, challenging, clubhouse and locker rooms were top notch and the staff was very friendly. Will def play again

The Red Tiger is a great layout. The course is very challenging with lots of hazards. The greens run fast and true.

Top notch course - a must play

We are here on holiday from UK, we really enjoyed this course. Playing pace was initially slow due to it being Saturday and extremely busy. We played earlier in the week and it was much better. It is challenging with fast undulating greens on some holes and lots of water. You need to course manage particularly if you are not a big hitter. The staff were great, friendly and helpful and the facilities here were excellent. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. Service recovery is excellent, if something goes wrong, everyone is keen to please and to make sure you enjoy your round. Whilst we were here we had a couple of days of torrential rain but the courses recovered very quickly. We played Red, Silver and Gold but we liked Red the best.
