Beautiful Tough Track
Blown away by the value for the money at this course. Really nice playable layout with great views and super tricky undulated greens a good test for any player. It is a bit of a drive but I am looking forward to making the trip again soon.
Highlands golf club
Signage throughout the property was insufficient or confusing. Worst was the markings of tee boxes. I didn’t know if I was at the correct tee. The tee box sign for 15 was completely missing. The greens were in good condition. It was a good place to practice with the ball being below or above your feet. The yamatrac yardage system was confusing and got very inaccurate towards the end.
Fisher man
Challenging course with sloped greens. Excellent conditions.
Great Range and Good Value
The range with tracking is great. The course was not quite in the same shape as it has been in previous years. Many bunkers lacked sand or were rock hard.
Top 3 course I’ve ever played.
Top tier staff, great conditions, very challenging but also playable. Great signature hole. Driving range is the best I’ve ever seen. Good and drinks were good. Wide open course, cheap tee time. Hidden gem. I drove an hour each way to play this course, I’d happily drive double that each way to play again
Great Course!
We love this course! Gorgeous views, great staff, course is kept up nicely. Can't wait to come back!
Worth the trip!
When visiting the Harrisonburg Virginia area to play golf this course is at the top of our list of must plays! Its an hour drive but certainly worth it. We found a friendly pro shop and as usual great course conditions.
Beautiful mountain hidewawy
Georgeous layout in the mountains of WV. The only thing I could complain about was the greens were slow. Dramatic layout. Stunning views. Excellent shape. Enjoyed it so much I played again today. The food in the restaurant was great and service A+ all around.
Beautiful course
Beautiful views, great price, friendly staff, affordable prices. Will definitely be back!
Course review
This is a mountain golf course so when traveling to it, I recommend you have written directions as the GPS signal can be lost. That having been said, it is well worth the drive. I was fortunate to play on a perfect fall day when the colors were in full brilliance. The course was in excellent condition on tees, fairways and greens. Because it is a mountain course, the ball takes a lot of big bounces to the left or right on some holes and the stances for many shots can be uneven. The greens are very tricky to read and to judge the speed. In spite of all of the aspects mentioned, the golf course was fair, challenging and fun to play for an experienced golfer, but too difficult for a beginner.
