Great value except if rainy season, the course does not drain well, and usually very muddy and sand traps more like little ponds.
I like the course when it's completely dry. When wet weather the course doesn't drain and extremely muddy.
Good golf course
This course has improved greatly. The Greens were good. The course was in good condition considering the amount of rain they have had. The staff went out of their way to make the day a great experience
Improving
I haven't played this course in a while even though I live on it. The conditions were surprisingly good. It appears that they are putting some effort into making it a better course to play.
Golfer
Course in sub par condition, fairways and rough and greens need work
eastwood golf club
Very pleased with course conditions. Very well maintained. Management did an excellent job on greens and fairways.
I play this course regularly, and this is the best condition I've seen this course in. Will certainly continue to play Eastwood in the future.
Nice open track
Some good risk/reward holes. Several nice doglegs, greens were pretty quick and rolled nice. Fair amount of water trouble if sloppy shotmaking.
My Goto Course
For the price this course is great. Main complaint is they don't have troopers so if the front group is playing slow you are at their mercy.
Over some of wooded area are rewarding
Greens are true, fairway can use a little TLC. Shoot one of my best rounds, playing smart is a good thing.
An enjoyable afternoon, despite the weather
I'd never played Eastwood before, although had played Stoneybrook East, which is almost 'next door'. The overall condition of the course was good - although it is clear where the club have prioritised spending on the course. The tees, fairways and greens were very good, whereas the bunkers...and areas around the greens were pretty poor - lots of weeds and bare patches. The bunkers were raked, but around the extremities were rough. We were interrupted by rain on the 4th hole....and the greens were pretty wet immediately afterwards, holding water. These quickly dried off and the remainder of the round was very pleasant. Some interesting wildlife too....which is always a pleasure to see, especially when my golf isn't too good!!
good course
Good course , well worth the cost will play there agian
Great Course
Plenty of doglegs on the back nine. Course can be tough when the wind picks up. Greens were in pretty good condition as were the fairways. Can't go wrong at Eastwood.
Fun Course
Very fun to play. It was interesting and just challenging enough.
So nice I played it 2 days in a row!!
I had not played here in a while and was presently surprised at how much nicer it seemed since the last time I was here. Was a hot deal on GolfNow and for $15 it was well worth it!! Greens were in real nice shape. Fairways are ok but that is pretty much to be expected. Looking at other reviews I got a chuckle out of people complaining about the rough being in bad shape and if you missed the fairway you were punished.... Ummm yeah kinda the point of golf!!! LOL
I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone
Positive things, the greens were in good condition, but the fairway and the rough looks like cow pasture.
Don't waste your time and money.
Terrible Conditions
Rough is all sad or run down dirt. Green and fairways are decent, but not worth it !
Lots of fun doglegs
You could shoot a low round here if you can work the ball around the corners.I loved it.
Interesting course.
Enjoyed playing the course with some challenging holes. My friend and I ejoyed the course very much.
Much better then rated
This is probably the first course in the Orlando area that is underrated. For me this course is better then most of the courses with a reasonable pricing.
Eastwood Easter
Only problems i have with the Overall Condition of the Course is No Ball Washer was operable and the Course is overtaken with Ants, expecially around the greens (wich i would think would be a problem if not treated)
Poor scheduling
Had a 9:37 tee time. Didn't get on till 10:15 because the starter didn't tell us he had booked a tournament in that time slot. By the time the final four of the tournament passed, there were 6 foursomes backed up on the first tee.
I won't be going back and I won't be recommending Eastwood to any other golfers
